Senior Transmission and IP Backhaul Planning (Projects Integration and Optimization Team)
Role purpose:
============
Developing Backhaul Network of Vodafone including detailed planning, implementation, optimization and project management.
Responsibilities:
1.Transmission Backhaul Network Planning:
▪ Prepare detailed Backhaul plans for several Projects.
▪ Create implementation plans.
▪ Scanning the network and creating Optimization Streams.
2.Transmission backhaul Network Implementation:
▪ Site surveys.
▪ Implement detailed Backhaul plans.
▪ Configuring Backhaul network.
▪ Support subcontractor tendering.
▪ Coordinating subcontractors.
▪ Support Ordering.
▪ Cooperate with access and transport areas.
3. Project Delivery:
Manage and deliver projects.
4. Projects and Achievements :
Full redesign for Tellabs 8600 IP/MPLS in core network which enhanced the stability of the network
Introducing VIAVI Performance System to be able to have full View on the difference network Sectors and measure different KPIs for sites (Delay, Jitter, availability..etc)
Swapping the old management System from Tellabs DXX solution to Huawei ATN solution across the network.
Enhancing the Resilience by applying VRRP on the BSCs/RNCs of the network
Introducing Route Reflectors in the network to enhance the Core Router Performances.
Creating the first Lab for Vodafone to be able to do all Trials in it instead of testing on the live Nodes
Role Purpose:
Provide the technical point of contact for the incidents of SITA customers (World bank, Virgin Atlantic Airways, British Airways, Lufthansa..etc)
Responsibilities:
▪ Troubleshoot and handle all complex incidents within the time frame agreed with the business.
▪ Work Closely with Field Services Operations by Supporting the Field engineers on site in fixing and troubleshooting either a configuration issue or testing Hardware issue.
▪ Document all troubleshooting and incident management actions via the electronic incident management system in a timely manner.
▪ Deep studying of Chronic issues in the Customers networks and work on a detailed Plan to solve them
▪ Work Closely with Customers Service Managers to fulfil the customer’s needs and their future plans in developing their networks.
