Duties & Responsibilities
# Estimation
* Preparing Priced BOQ based on price sources.
* Estimate the tender project and repot to the management for the actual cost of the project.
* Organize sub‐contractor's quotations, negotiate to ensure quotes meet contract
requirements.
* Prepared Tender Documents and contracts related documents for Sub‐Contractors.
* Raise the Request for Clarification during the performance of tendering.
* Preparing the commercial report to the top management to decide the tender submission.
* Preparing the executive summary including forecasted contract amount based on the
previous experience to top management (approximate Contract amount based on area
method).
* Lead the QS team.
* Coordinate with the technical department for the technical tender submission.
* Preparing the packages for getting current market prices from Vendors/Subcontractors.
* Preparing the budget for the project.
* Perform the post‐tender clarifications.
# Post Contract
* Preparing the Interim Payment Application.
* Prepare, submit, and agree to Variation Orders (Cost Proposals) with the Clients/ Consultants.
* Carefully understand the project contract and manage to perform accordingly.
* Preparing the RFI (Request for Information) to the consultant.
* Providing the Contractual support and information to the procurement team for the
subcontractor and supplier selection.
* Monitoring the cost to maintain the profit margin.
* Monitoring changes to designs, variations work and updating of projects
* Monitoring construction costs (Budget Vs Actual comparison).
* Preparing the Cost to Complete.
* Perform and implement all post contract duties including but not limited to preparation of
variations orders, analysis of site design changes, Subcontract certificates, final accounts, and
evaluation reports.
* Manage the subcontractor process including the certification of the payment.
* Follow‐ups with the site team & QA/QC team.
