• Prepare the IPA and monthly progress report for Engineer.
• Prepare and submit the Cost value reconciliation and cash flow report.
• Providing technical advice on contractual issues relating to Construction projects.
• Prepare the Variation and negotiate with the Engineer.
• Reviewing of sub-contractors IPA, Final Payment, Work Order, EOT.
• Prepare Sub-contractors agreement after awarding the project.
• Maintain records of all subcontractors agreements and payments.
• Prepare Quantity Take-off and provide Cost Control department for variation proposals.

Pre-Contract duties:
• Review and study of the Tender document which is received from the Client.
• Check the Quantities between the BOQ and Tender drawings.
• Prepare the Query sheet for missing items and errors.
• Quantity take-off from the drawings prepare the BOQ.
• Preparing the inquiries according to the specification and sending them to the Sub-contractors or
Supplier for Quotations.
• Comparing the prices from different Suppliers.
• Dealing with Bonds (Bid, Performance bond, Advance guarantee, Tender bond)
• Preparation of Rate breakdown and Coordinate with the senior estimator for Rate Analysis.
As a Project Management Quantity Surveyor
• Evaluation of Contractors Monthly Progress Report, IPA and issuing interim payment certificate.
• Responsible for preparing Cost report to Employer.
• Check the materials on and off site and verify delivery and acceptance from the Employers
payment approval.
• Review the Insurance and bonds as per Condition of contract.
• Negotiating with the contractor and agreeing final accounts in faith manner.
• Preparing assessment of contractors variation works.
• Drafting contractual letters and maintaining the Contractual Records.
• Evaluation of Contractors claims.
• Reviewing detailed estimates of additional cost for the additional scope of work.
• Prepare Pre-Tender Estimates.
