Overall Management
Assists company in managing OH& S requirements on contract’s scope of work. Coordinate with client HSE representatives to address OH&S issues related to the contract and ensure compliance with client HSE regulation, procedures, and safe work practices.
Monitors and ensures implementation of the contact’s HSE plan.
Prepares and imparts training to employees on various OH&S related topics like Work Permit System, Hazardous Chemicals Safety, PPE, etc. Conduct safety induction for new employees.
Arranges and conducts the regular HSE meeting for field supervisors. Ensures that supervision team (Supervisors, Foreman, etc.) or representative from each unit/team attends the meeting.
Ensures site supervisor conducts daily Toolbox Talk Meeting with all personnel in attendance and Provide appropriate topics for meetings and initiates follow-up on HSE concerns addressed during these meetings.
Guides/assists and participates as a member of accident/incident investigation teams and follows up on the recommendations compliance.
Participates in Work Permit Risk Assessment of critical activities. Follow-up, monitors and ensures implementation of mitigation measures on identified risks.
Guides /advises and informs line management on issues related to HSE violations from time to time, in line with Client safe work practices/procedures.
Audits equipment certificates to ensure they are validated & safe for use including third party certificates.
Responds and undertakes duties in accordance with company and Client’s ERP, evacuation plan and site emergency preparedness.
Maintain regular communication with company and Client supervision teams to advise them on OH&S matters. Participates in various HSE meeting, as required by company and Client.
Organizes safety promotional activities to enhance awareness on safety issues and indicate safe work culture at the workplace.
Prepares and submits safety performance statistics reports as needed for Client and company records.
