As a Recruitment Team Leader, I have been involved in recruitment of more than 300 staff and 1, 500 laborers during my time in DSC. I am reporting directly to the Human Resource Manager. My KEY responsibilities include:
• Recruitment and selection of staff ranging from Project Directors to Site Engineers;
• Recruitment and selection of labour from various countries including India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Egypt.
• Prepare and execute mobilization & demobilization plans for all DSC projects.
• Coordination and follow-up with recruitment agents overseas - from selection till deployment.
• Performing screening of applicants by personal interview or via phone to verify skill level and qualification.
• Handling Project manpower budgets to ensure recruitment activity completed within budget.
• Dealing with Employee Grievances & resolving Conflict in accordance with Saudi Labor Law.
• To coordinate with department managers and projects managers for probation review of new staff.
• Liaison with Internal Audit in order to manage risks, resolve findings and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Decision-making for resolution of critical matters with Managing Director and Corporate Head Office;
• Appraising support staff in a constructive and timely manner.
