Electrical Estimation/ Costing & Procurement Expert:
- Make the plan and coordination between MEP divisions to achieve the best performance and do the
required job in the exact time with the best accuracy.
-Attend all periodical meeting with MEP and other departments’ team to evaluate the technical department
performance and do all the required actions to improve.
- Attending the Job Explanation/Pre-Bid meeting arranged by the Client/Consultant and to study about the
Contract, Scope of Work, and Specifications.
- Receiving Tender documents (Drawings + Specification + Bill of Quantities) pertaining to Electrical Section
of the works.
- Ensure collection of the details of the tendering documents along with the relevant instructions to prepare
the tender.
-Identify any inconsistent issues, conflicts, and other problems in the bid documents.
- Send all RFI and inquiries to the Client/Consultant to confirm and collect any missing data.
- Collecting the offers for the materials from the approved suppliers and sub-contractors for the services. On
collection of offers to further negotiate for any discounts.
-Reviews quotes to confirm adherence to quote requests and accuracy of quotes received.
- Preparing the total cost of the project incorporating direct costs like material cost, sub-contract cost, staff
cost, labor cost, machinery and equipment cost and indirect costs as well including cost of prelims.
- Doing value engineering for all electrical and communications work by modifying the design / material in
order to achieve the client/Project budget with the same quality and specifications and reach to the optimum
solution.
- Coordinating with the Planning Manager to prepare the tender project planning program incorporating the
time schedule for completion of construction activities.
- Prepare/ review all material technical submittal to ensure that complying with the project specification and
submit it for consultant approval.
- Preparing/reviewing of shop drawings before submittal for approval from consultant.
- Provide all technical support to job site team and attend site meeting to discuss all technical issues related
to the project.
- Preparation of Cost Estimate Comparison between Budget Estimate & Actual Cost.
- Preparation of Variation Orders and Change Orders as per the actual work done on site.

Electrical Design and Supervision Expert:
- Study of projects requirements and discussions with Owner and Architect to prepare necessary calculations
for arriving at appropriate systems & capacities.
- Preparation of user requirements, schemes, layout drawings and budget estimates.
- Preparation of tender documents based on approved schemes including drawings, specification, estimates,
bills of quantities etc.
- Preparation of technical and commercial comparative statements for bids evaluation.
- Participating in negotiation with tenderers to provide with necessary technical support for finalization of
contracts.
- Approval of contractor’s shop drawings and inspection of equipment at site.
- Co-ordination among service contractors for proper implementation.
- Periodic visits for site work supervision, co-ordination, commissioning etc.
- Liaising with the contractors for proper commissioning of the various systems.
- Do all the required procedure to make smoothly project handover.
