Responsibilities:
• Supervising and managing the work of other electrical engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Evaluating the electrical construction needs of a project and developing an outline of the scope of work required to complete it.
• Reviewing design documents prepared by designers to ensure compliance with electrical standards
• Selecting and recommending materials, equipment, and technologies that meet project requirements
• Maintaining records of all work performed on a project by the electrical engineering team members to ensure compliance with applicable codes
• Assures technical accuracy and quality of all work performed in the electrical department
• Interfaces with various clients as the Lead Engineer. Responds to client questions and comments. Monitor and resolve client issues
• Reviews contractor-submitted shop drawings and as-built drawings, materials submittals, tie-in procedures, project schedules, and work permits and coordinates with the concerned departments for their comments.
• Ensure work is carried out competently and effectively, within time and budget constraints
• Support the implementation Test and Commissioning that includes processes in addressing outstanding tests for Electrical Works

 Monitors construction contractors’ electrical installation and testing activities.
 Perform the quality control activities while installation and pre commissioning of all Electrical & Telecommunication equipment’s/panels.
 Ensuring the quality & Technicality during installation of EMT/ PVC conduits, boxes, pull box, junction box, speakers, Alarm detectors, Lighting fixtures, Modules, Panels as per contract specifications
 Dealing with Client/ Consultant in solving technical difficulties and executing plans.
 Getting approval on stuck issues with Client related Electrical and Telecommunication activities.
 Lead a team of QC Electrical/ Communication Inspectors and evaluating their performance.
 Monitoring the inspection of Duct bank installation for MV cable (Road, Pipe, and Rail Crossing & Multiple crossing).
 Checking the electrical installation Panels & Preparing punch list reports
 Monitoring control panel wiring, Termination, cable routing & cable tray Installation as per NEMA
 Erection and commissioning of MV, LV switch gear.
 Periodic inspection for the Installation of underground and above ground conduits, cable trays, duct banks, power, communication, control and instrument cables.
 Overall supervision and follow-up of electrical engineers, designers and technical personnel in the expedition of electrical technical submissions and deliverables
 Coordinate the Electrical Engineers and Inspectors in monitoring and supervising all the activities associated with the Project in relation to the Electrical Works, LV and Special Systems
 Review IFC, Shop drawing, ITP, Material Submittals for all Electrical and systems works as per the project procedure
 Assign tasks and inspection schedule to the Electrical Engineers and Inspectors
 Review the inspection comments provided by the electrical engineering team prior to releasing them to the lead Engineer and, when necessary, attend scheduled inspections via Inspection Requests and provide accurate inspection comments
 Ensure that the Electrical Engineers and Inspectors monitor and supervise the Contractor's performance against approved Method Statements and ITPs
 Approve the inspections of materials delivered to site, and advise the Electrical Inspectors team on ensuring the compliance to the project requirements
 Set up and coordinate the surveillance and regular site walkthroughs to ascertain that Electrical Works are proceeding in accordance with requirements
 Establish with the team of Electrical Engineers and Inspectors the protocol for issuance of site observations and nonconformance reports. Maintain the log and follow up for the Closure of the same
 Identify the tests requirements for the Electrical Works in accordance to Standards and Codes

 Advise on any Electrical engineering potential problems, issues, and deficiencies identified to the Lead Engineer in a timely manner
 Review and provide recommendations to RFIs submitted, related to the Electrical Works
 Attend technical and site meetings as required by the project and provide inputs on issues related to the execution of the Electrical Works
 Review As-Built drawings and ensure that they are inclusive of the As-Built conditions incorporating design changes, variations, approved materials, plant and equipment for Electrical Works

 Support the implementation Test and Commissioning that includes processes in addressing outstanding tests for Electrical Works

 Provide input to the Electrical Engineering team when issuing NCRs for non-conforming works of the Contractor, and participate in the resolution and closure
 coordinate with the QC Manager to comply with the requirements of the quality plan
 Coordinate with QC Manager any tests required for the project and on-site, off-site inspection

 Inspection for other Electrical/telcomm installations like junction boxes, cable trays, lighting poles, lighting fixtures, small power sockets, emergency lighting fixtures, battery banks, photo cells, exit lights Photovoltaic system
 Preventive maint. Corrective maint. And Troubleshooting for thefollowing equipment’s that used frequently on gas treatment plants:-
 Generators mfr.( marilli motori ”Italy” and Caterpillar” USA”)
 Portable diesel generator (mase, atlas copco, iveco andOlympian)
 Generator control panels mfr (, C.G.T -Italy)
 Low voltage power Centers (Block set) mfr. (Schneider electric)
 MCC’s mfr. (Schneider electric)
 Low voltage motors with VFD control.
 Automatic fire alarm, firefighting systems
