Job Description: Planning & Cost Control Manager for Amana Northern Emirates (ANE).
1. Prepares the budget for the newly awarded Projects as per procedure.
2. Prepares weekly/monthly project statistics reports of the projects.
3. Studies the Contract scope, requirements, challenges, and direct & indirect cost analysis and risk assessments.
4. Prepares weekly / monthly management reports highlighting cost variances, cost to complete and, any unusual findings in the cost of the project. To ensure implementation of Amana latest Operations Procedures Manual.
5. Coordinate and assist in conducting the coordination meetings with all stakeholders to reach the best integration of all departments input.
6. Develop, approve and monitor project schedules and ensure that all projects milestones are achieved on time.
7. Coordinate with other functions (Procurement, Engineering, Construction, Equipment plant, etc.) to ensure proper integration and time management of the project
8. Responsible for the training and development of all of my subordinates.
9. Supports and advises all sites in:
i) Setting, monitoring and updating schedule
ii) Monitor Cash flow report
iii) Manpower and Equipment report
iv) Any analysis of time impact as necessary

Job Description: Senior Planning Engineer for Amana Special Projects.
1. To select, coach and mentor subordinates in order to build a strong planning department can control all projects planning activities.
2. Micro-planning for the awarded projects.
3. To prepare a construction schedule that addresses all the project’s activities relevant to a particular project and timetable.
4. Consideration of all legal requirements.
5. Identify the hazards/risks, operational and financial requirements.
6. To assist top management in highlighting the yearly forecast target, and to identify their resources.
6. To assure the submission of the projects (Progress Monitoring Reports) to top management on a weekly basis.
7. To monitor and record all project related variation orders and monthly issue of invoices in coordination with Construction Department.
8. To maintain updating the project’s budget in case of any variation orders or change in prices.
Sr. Planning and Project Engineer for National Industrial Contracting Co. (NICC). NICC is one from NBK Group and 1st Grade Company in Qatar Classification and considered as one from the biggest companies in the contracting field in Qatar. NICC operating in contracting since 1960. The average annual Budget for NICC is about 200 million QR.
Projects: -
1. Dukhan Housing Project Phase VI inside Dukhan Township. The Project consists of 24 villas, the MEP works and the external Networks the total cost is 56 million QR.
2. Planner For two typical schools "Elementary School at North Duhail for Girls" & "Model School at mauither West" for Building Engineering Department (Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture). The total cost of the two schools is 45 million QR including all MEP Works and External Works and ancillary buildings.
Work Description: I am the responsible for preparing time schedule including resources and cost, preparing the current and updated schedules, monitoring the progress, ensure that work plan is implemented on site, preparing weekly and monthly progress reports, monitoring the cash flow and procurement, preparing the recovery plan for delayed zones and co-ordinate with the project managers to control the work progress and subcontractors progress.
- In Charge Eng. "NBK administration Building" in Doha ( Farik Abdel Aziz St.) B+G+M+8F & car park (B+G+M+2F). The total anticipated cost for the project 24 million QR including all MEP works. I am the responsible for supervision the Construction activities, preparing the time schedules and Shop drawing and monitoring the Subcontractor, control all resources and manpower and preparing all progress reports and schedules required.
Construction Manager for Red Sea Diving Safari Co.
Red Sea Diving Safari Co is torristic company has 3 resorts in Marsa Alam in Red Sea the first resort is Marsa Shagra Village, the second one is Marsa Nakary Resort and the third one is Wadi Lahmy Resort. The three resorts were upgrading and extended to increase the total numbers of rooms the services for these extensions.
Projects: -
The project includes new guest rooms, suites, Villas, restaurants, Infra-structure networks, 2 sewage treatment Plants, 6 sewage tanks, 2 water tanks, staff housing, stores and landscape works. All MEP works for the projects.
Work Description: I was fully charging on the three resorts for the new construction projects, which include build and handing over (turnkey).
Planner and document controller for Costain Samcrete Project Management - Hurghada “CSPM”.
CSPM was created by Joint venture between Costain - which is an international engineering and construction group with a reputation for technical excellence - and Samcrete Egypt.
Costain Samcrete Project Management were the project manager for the projects and responsibility were: -
-Panning and monitoring.
-Tendering and Contract administration.
-Co-ordination between the consultants and contractors and the owner.
-Quantity surveying.
-Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
-Technical support and supervision…… etc, .
Projects: -
1. Aida Verdi Hotel: Aida Verdi is a 4 stars hotel 237 rooms. Including a swimming pool, 2 restaurant and all MEP networks, kitchen, service areas and landscaping with a total budget of 40, 000, 000 LE including the furniture and devices.
2. Rebranding of Aida Verdi: to be Maxx-Esprix 4 stars with a total budget of 7, 000, 000 EL including the MEP network extension.
3. STIEGENBERGER Aldou Hotel & Resort (Five stars hotel) (Hurghada) Is a five stars hotel with 346 Rooms and suites and included 19 Villas, swimming pool, health club and some auxiliary building and, all sites MEPD works and finishing items “Internal and external”. Final anticipated cost of project in excess of LE 184, 000, 000 LE project duties.
Work Description: In the first & second projects I was working as a planner and monitoring Engineer responsible for providing the project programmes including the resources and providing the progress reports according to the regular monitoring plus reviewing the contractor's invoices and claims in addition to the document controlling for all documents in the project.
In the third project, I was a Planning engineer. I was responsible for Reviewing the time schedules for all contractors and nominated subcontractors, monitoring the progress, preparing the master program for overall Project and preparing the Progress reports.

I was working as a technical and site engineer responsible for shop drawing, client invoices, sub-contractors invoices, quantity servaying and some site works in the main building.
