• Include Pre-shutdown, shutdown & post shutdown project pre-commissioning, commissioning and post commission project, hook up activities, pipe laying, sleeper installation, riser installation, pipeline Demolitions, stabilization mattresses installation, free span correction, pre engineering diving survey, subsea survey by side scan sonar, etc.
Ensuring that all items of safety, firefighting, environmental
equipment and facilities are kept in best working conditions by assisting in prevention maintenance programs and associated procedures.
• Carrying out HSE-MS audits on subcontractors and verifying implementation of their systems on project spreads.
• Defining PPE requirements in accordance with company activities and including subcontractors.
• Ensure that all safety items required in the permit to work (PTW) are adequate / available
• and ensure full compliance with the PTW during task being carried out.
• •Reporting and analysis of any near miss, sub-standard practices and substandard conditions at work sites.
• Incident, accident reporting & investigation and finding out the immediate and basic causes.
• Provide feedback to improve the implementation of the company HSE management system.
• Conducting in-house training general safety when required for the employees.
• Carry out familiarization to newly joined employees to cover HSE related items.
• Implementing health and safety policy & procedures.
• Identify common risks related to the nature of core activities carried out and develop a general risk register.
• Participate in risk assessments for projects and lead risk assessments for infield operations.
• Conducting HSE meetings with employees to enhance safety awareness, and improve HSE performance.
• Prepare material for safety flashes/ Moments based on the outcome of the site near misses & accident reporting or from international industry resources.
• Advise management on any HSE matters pertaining to good site operations. Ensure that current legislation was observed.
• Focusing on environmental protection issues and giving the proper advice on segregation, handling and disposal.

Responsibilities :
• Implement WEPCO safety policy, procedure and client HSE plan. Participate in regular inspections and management walk-downs.
• Can give induction for new workers.
• Can give training as (Performing Authority, control of work, Hazard identification, Risk assessment, Electrical & chemical Isolation, Firefighting, First aid courses )
• Undertake PTW audits to ensure the controls identified on the PTW are fully implemented.
• A warring of all PTW packs such as ( Hazard Identification, Task risk assessment and all documents that related to PTW)
• Review PTW's, method of statement and risk assessments prepared by the contractor.
• Contribute towards daily and monthly HSSE reports.
• Attend and conducting Weekly and monthly meetings with all subcontractor.
• Coordinate with owner and client requirements and meetings.
• Provide advice in setup and creating HSSE system and procedures.
• Conduct and supervise Emergency and Evacuation drills.
• Carry out weekly and monthly HSE statistics report/HSE performance.
• Provide guidance and coaching to the contractors HSSE teams.
• Carryout daily HSSE tours of the workplace and formally record areas for improvement.
• Participate in audits, inspections and meetings when requested.
• Provide, report, and conduct all incident investigations.
• Provide relevant training and leadership.
• Promoting safety culture.
• Preparation written safety bulletins and instructions (safety sings and notices)
• Classification, identification and implementation of color code system.
• Operation and using all firefighting system.
• Implement waste management systems, as per ISO 14001, and local laws.
• Accidents, incidents and near misses. (Investigations& reporting).

Civil, mechanical & electrical working (Excavation, working at height, lifting, confined space, Admin Building, Underground utilities, Painting, piping welding scaffolding, dewatering, and interlock construction)

• A warring of all PTW packs such as Method of statement, JHA, and HIATRA ( Hazard Identification and Task risk assessment )
• Undertake regular 8 Golden rule audits.
• Review PTW's, method of statement and risk assessments prepared by the contractor.
• Complete HSSE Observation ACT / SOC reports for any unsafe acts / conditions observed.
• Contribute towards daily and monthly HSSE reports.
• Inspect all vehicles, mobile plants and equipment.
• Update the vehicles, mobile plants and equipment register.
• Chemical preparation in the hall.
• Daily and weekly inspection for insure that work activities done in a safe manner & all workers have the PPE needed
• Prepare risk assessment for several jobs at the site
• Supervise on implementation the emergency drills at the site continuously.
