Pre-Sales Team Leader (Promoted):
Acting as a network pre-sales team leader for Cisco, VMWare, and Veeam. Also assigned as Business Development Manager for Cisco Datacenter Products as part of an agreement between Cisco Systems and Zak Solutions.
A consultative sales, technology and solution focused specialist who creates great client intimacy with their technical expertise in network solutions (date, voice, wireless, security).
- Customer facing role with ability to articulate the Organization and Solution value proposition.
- Responsible for bidding process of tenders starting with assigning tasks to team members, building respective response for network section, till validating submission proposal and pricing.
- Manage Proof-Of-Concept (POC) activities in order to assist sales in closing deals.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer for technical/sales teams to cover the latest technologies and devices.
- Analyse customer requirements and recommends the best fit technology solution and builds tender RFP and BOQ.
- Selfmotivated and ability to take independent decisions in keeping with the guidelines of the organization.
- Identify solution system interfaces, constraints, scope, cost, risks and values.
- Document business, information, application and technology aspects of approach.
- Provide technical guidance and support sales organization in architect-driven pre-sales initiatives.
- Develop high quality proposals and sales presentation.
- Manage the relation and communications with the partners like vendors, suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Build pipeline for network products and develop account planning along with sales team to achieve company target.
- Plan for marketing activities with vendors and partners
Act as a Project Manager for MOE projects:
1) Network Infrastructure Upgrade, WAN acceleration, and Security project using BlueCoat SG and Cisco routers and ACE to connect 680 remote sites
2) Deploying Metro Ethernet Network through implementation of Cisco DWDM and IP/MPLS technologies to connect 907 remote sites.
Main Responsibilities:

- Network projects planning, implementation, and documentation.
- On-site and Remote 2nd level support.
- Planning for network solutions based on customer requirements, site survey and network assessment.
- Professional technical on-the-work training sessions for clients.
- Consults with users and evaluate requirements, recommends designs, provides cost analyses, plans projects, and coordinates tasks for installation of IP networks.
- Provides technical assistance and maintenance support to first and third tier support groups and department end users.
- Helps to Analyze and resolves technical problems for established networks.
- Provides assistance and where appropriate handles technical network problems and emergencies.
- Performs monitoring of data communications network for purposes of preventative maintenance, trend analysis, and problem resolution.
- Assists in identifying problems and resolutions across multi-platform distributed network environment.
Network Engineer - Professional Services Team:
- Installs, configures and maintains network components as directed by team lead.
- Establishes user profiles, user environments, directories, and security for networks being installed.
- Plans layout for new hardware or modifications to existing layout.
- Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
- Suggests and provides IT solutions to technical problems.
- Works with vendors to resolve complex network problems.
- Assists in the Analysis and resolution of faults, ranging from a major network crash to user unable to access approved network services.
- Maintains confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
- Maintains records including problem documentation and actions taken.
- Escalates any risks and issues to the Network HOD.
- Participating in projects implementation as a team player but independent sometimes.
- Install all new hardware, systems, and software for networks.
- Install, configure, maintain network services, equipment and devices
- Perform troubleshooting analysis of network devices and associated systems.
- Technical documentation for completed projects/tasks.
- Install, configure, and support network devices within HQ and other branches.
- Documenting network problems and resolution for future reference.
- Monitoring system performance and implements performance tuning
- Scheduled reports for network performance.
- Preparing the RFP document for network upgrade project.
- Working as a team player to complete the network upgrade project implementation.
- Participating in projects implementation as a team player but independent sometimes.
- Install all new hardware, systems, and software for networks.
- Install, configure, maintain network services, equipment and devices
- Perform troubleshooting analysis of network devices and associated systems.

- Deliver high-end technical classes.
- Arranging the required HW/SW resources and training study materials.
- Maintain quality of delivery as measured by student evaluations
- Assist Sales Account Executives as needed (consult on content and delivery)
