Duties and responsibilities,
- Full understanding of BIM Standards and Project specifications.
- Responsible for Model Quality Assurance (all building trades).
- In charge of Mechanical services: HVAC, Firefighting and Plumping.
- Provide leadership and supervision to the mechanical BIM team and its activities.
- Coaching each discipline on leveraging Clash-detection tools on their own discipline to proactively build and design in a smart fashion.
- Lead BIM Coordination Meetings: Spatial Coordination of Disciplines, gathering all disciplines BIM models including civil & architecture and performing coordination tasks.
- Managing MEP subcontractors.
- Focus on project tracking and scheduling with an emphasis on creating a quantity takeoff solution.
- Assist in 4D scheduling technology.
- Assist in 5D costing technology.
- Assist in developing proposals, estimates, presentations and other documents, as required.
- Assist in updating models to reflect as-built conditions using laser scanning.
Working in CCC (Consolidated Contractors Company), BIM centre, from 15 October 2011 till now.
Job Responsibilities,
- In charge of HVAC system.
- Convert 2D Drawings into 3D smart model.
- Create quantity takeoff.
- Conducting Clash-detection and conflict resolution.
- Perform quality analysis tests to check consistency of the product with the plans.
- Train the new team members on developing the BIM model and using BIM software.
