Implement the QA/QC management system for corporate Head Office and project sites (Mill - Pasta - Carton).

Control of further processing of non-conforming products (Semolina, Pasta, Carton) until deficiencies or unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected.

Maintain a database of all quality reports, reviews, statistics and other documents for future use and reference.

Have responsibility and authority to manage a food safety team. Provides training and education to the food safety team members. By reviewing records to verify effective implementation and updating of the system.

Manage, Develop and Implement company Food Safety and Quality Assurance Programs (HACCP, SOP, GMP, GLP, GHP, Allergens, etc.).

Training, motivating, coaching, and correcting guide inspectors, technicians to ensure that standards are met and Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

Manage the Integrated Pest Management System.

Coordinate with working team to be readiness for the surveillance audit, customer & consumer and authorities’ audits.

Evaluate the performance of the team and ensure the development of their skills in all matters related to quality.

Assessment of non-conformities and identification of root causes.

Lead as a food safety team leader to drive safety and hygiene improvement for products.

Maintains compliance with local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies (BRC / SEDEX (SMETA) / FSMA / GFSI / PCQI / ISO / Global GAP).

Communicate and collaborate with growers for making inspection prior to loading the goods (Citrus (Oranges and Mandarins), Strawberries, IQF products, Coffee Beans, Dates, Table Grapes, Onions, Garlics, Potatoes, etc.) in the port Suggest the loading or rejection of the port in relation to the minor and major defects guideline.

Lead the Quality Control process in Egypt by creating the protocol of on-site inspections and corresponding reporting in the packhouses.

Oversee packing house procedures and being the contact point in all QC oriented matters.

Assist other Engagement Managers in the market to secure planned shipments in a professional and successful manner.

Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems with the responsible team based on scientific basics.

Contribute to new business initiatives and projects, review & communicate the impact on products quality.

Leads the quality team to establish and maintain highest quality levels of products.

Ensures that testing methods and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated for the suppliers.

Ensures the effective operation of the HACCP and Food Safety teams for the suppliers.

Ensures compliance with national standards and legislation. (BRC / SEDEX / FSMA / GFSI / PCQI / ISO / Global GAP) for the suppliers.

Establish a quality function from scratch by 10% till now.

Design a set of Specifications for all outgoing materials completed to 100% for all in April/2022.

*Revising and Following-up Sterilization units (Steam, ETO, PPO charts, and IRR certificates review).
*Following Physical/chemical/Microbiology lab System of work and references.
*Following Tests and equipment.
*Following Lab equipment maintenance and calibration (External & Internal).

*Periodic Reviewing for RM, FG, WIP specs, and documentation.

*Effectively and efficiently manage the product design process in line with customer specifications, meeting quality and delivery expectations, minimizing costs where possible, and ensure the required best working practices are always maintained.
*Drive process improvements on overall product quality in terms of materials specification, packaging design, and manufacturing process.
*Ensures that testing methods and procedures are properly understood, carried out, and evaluated.

-Inspect and analyze “Raw and Packaging materials” & “Finished and Intermediate products” (chemically and microbiologically) and make sure that they are compatible to standard specifications.
-Perform environmental analysis and “air samples using Air Sampler” to detect harmful microorganisms and to obtain information about sources of pollution and contamination.
-Create calibration system and plan for all equipment.
-Monitor the performance of department equipments, prepare & update the working instructions (WI) for these equipments.
-Defines and implements standard operation procedure (SOP) across laboratories (chemical and microbiological) activities (test methods, reagent preparation, sampling plans, etc.).
-Align with the in-process control (IPC) team for determination of the real root cause of any out of specification results and figure out the corrective & preventive action for it.
-Create documentation system according to ISO 9001.
-Create risk assessment for all process according to HACCP.
-Prepare stock control for Chemistry and Microbiology labs' consumables and monthly needs to be matched with the prepared budget.
-Seeking for offers for the laboratory devices, tools and consumables to support purchasing to obtain the best quality.
-Supervising & training technicians on new methods.
-Performing GSP audit on weekly basis & Food Safety Audit on Quarter basis.
-Revising updated Know How(s).
Implement GMP, GLP, 5S, and GHP inside the Lab.
-SAP user and Sensory Team Member.
