Chairman of El-Wastani Petroleum Co. which is joint venture with Dana Gas Co., its main activity Natural Gas production from on-shore fields with 200 MMSCFD, driving the Co. organization, production plans, supply chain and some other organization, implemented a big project in this period which up-grading the main plant capacity from 200MMSCFD to 250MMSCFD.

Mgr., managing Safety objectives and follow-up and insures that the District are effectively implemented the HSE policies and regulations, Follow-up the incident investigation for the HSE reportable incidences and implementing its recommendations, oil production plans, drilling activities, Follow-up the rehabilitation of some off-shore platforms, Major Maintenance, Member in Tenders Committee and managing the Company budget, , achieved in this period two rehabilitation projects for main two off-shore platforms called July-10 and Ramadan-6, improving the safety records and decreasing the production cost of oil barrel/$.
Gupco Deputy District General Manager for Operations and District General Manager; managing Safety objectives and follow-up and insures that the HSE policies and regulations are effectively implemented, Forming the teams for the incident investigation for the HSE reportable incidences and follow-up the implementing of its recommendations, Approving the job working package and insures that include all the required items such as work permits, Risk Assessment, SIMOPS and HAZOP if necessary, managing the daily oil production, the operation of the off-shore oil production platforms facilities, process oil treatment plants, Drilling activities, projects, pipe lines construction, assets integrity systems, jobs planning, marine activities and vessels inspection, Auditing the off-shore platforms and plants in a regular basis for insuring the functionality of Safety equipment and housekeeping, Budget control and handling the emergency cases in the District, achieved in this period decreasing the number of the emergency cases specially on the aging facilities, steady operation and consequently increasing the Co. oil production.
Nov. 2001 - March 2008:
Gupco, General Maintenance General Manager, ran the maintenance organization which include Turbine operation & Maintenance Division, Mechanical Maintenance Division (Reciprocating engines and Pumps), Electrical & Instrument Division (Electrical Generators, control systems, maintain and functionality the ESD loops and Fire & Gas systems) and Maintenance Engineering Division (Vibration survey and condition monitoring for equipment) achieved a big success in the increasing of equipment availability and reliability and extending the life time for the equipment(covering off-shore platforms and on-shore plants) using the up-dating systems and devices of condition monitoring.
Started as off-shore platform Gas Turbine Engineer, operations and maintenance of Gas turbine/ Gas Compressor lift packages and Turbine Power Generation till promoted to Turbine Operations & Maintenance Division Manager, In this period, gained a deep technical experience in the operations and maintenance of Gas turbines and Gas compressors and Electrical Power generation plants driven by Gas Turbines touching the following types; Solar, Allison, Man Turbo, Sulzer, Ruston, Rolls-Royce, Dresser-Rand packages plus the experience in the control system, instrumentation and electrical staff.
Also, gained an experience in the commissioning, start-up and handover of many projects such as new off-shore platforms, new onshore plants and electrical power Generation plants (over 30 MW ) also, gained an experience in the Operation of the utility systems such as power generation units, gas scrubbing, fuel gas treatment, glycol units also, the ordering spare parts, warehouse activities, sharing in materials tenders and evaluation, jobs planning and utilizing Maximo system for equipment data base, issuing work orders for maintenance program and safety critical items.
