- Maintain full charge of all accounting functions including MIS, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger, Financial reporting, Fixed Assets and Payroll. Work closely with the CFO/Finance Manager to review budget, reconcile variances and identify areas of productivity and improvement.
- Preparation of Management Information Systems reports (MIS).
- Provide the Trend & Variance analysis of Budget Vs Actual.
- Using Hyperion & HFM software to upload the final result to the head office in NY.
- Examined journal vouchers, general ledger reconciliations, and numerous analyses including P & L variance, inter-company accounts, and ageing.
- Monthly closing of financial statements; prepared management reports concerning purchases, sales, and inventory.
- Perform comprehensive variance analysis and determine root-cause for each significant variance.
- Key contributor to annual budget process, working with various departments heads to review historical activities, trends, and future obligations
- Manage month-end and year-end closing cycle.
- Facilitated communication with the internal and external auditors.
- Media Plan, Media Billings and Non media production related invoices.
- Ageing of Payables and Receivables taken and follow-up with Suppliers and Clients.
- Preparation of EOSB as per UAE Law
- Verification of Employee Leaves and Annual Ticket eligibility
- Overseeing visa processing by PRO’s
- Preparation & analysis of payroll within the timeline.
- Monitoring cash flows in order to balance with the MIS
- Monitoring petty cash expenses and journals which are posted by the accountants.
- Attending meeting with the Clients for the contract opening / renewals and payment issues.
