• Leading the regional accounting hub for management of finance and accounts processes based on SAP & overseeing the full
spectrum of finance. Responsible for all financial matters concerning operations pertaining to business strategy, performance
management, budgeting, forecasting and sales analysis.
• Developed annual financial budgets including rolling forecast; closely coordinated with the operations management team to
ensure the BU’s would achieve its goals.
• Led the commercial team to close the large tenders with MNC’s across the regions facilitating with payment guarantees, Letter
of Credit, project costing for clients like-
o Siemens (Led Screens) - Abu Dhabi,
o University of Gondar SAP Project-Ethiopia,
o Rwanda Development Board SAP Project- Kigali (Rwanda),
o Etisalat (Avaya Backend Revamp Project)-Abu Dhabi.
• Led the team to manage all chronic receivables by taking appropriate actions notably legal route formation planning;
renegotiated payment terms with customers.
• Cross country fund planning by opening LC for inland and foreign party, bank guarantee for the import & govt. projects,
successfully closed banking lines worth $15m (Funded and Non-Funded) with banks in Nairobi, Kenya and Dubai, UAE.
