• Perform the Collection & packing of cuttings samples, from the proper lagged depths and at the proper intervals as required for evaluation.
• Examine and describe samples as per oil industry standards and client’s specifications.
• Evaluate all samples for the presence of hydrocarbon shows.
• Monitor and evaluate all data in order to identify abnormal indications of unforeseen or hazardous events, inform the relevant drilling personnel of potential dangers, indications of drilling assembly wear failure, etc.
• Design & generate drilling and lithology logs as specified and requested by the client in the scope of work.
• Assisting the Wellsite Geologist during drilling and coring operations.
• Real time monitoring of all drilling activities.
• Monitoring well flow and detecting Gain/Losses during Operation • Lending technical support in case of equipment failure.
• Manage mud logging unit utilization and testing materials.
• Complete rig up/down mud logging unit.
