Challenge: To design/administrate a centralized server and desktop consolidation program. Actions: Wrote the strategy document and designed/administrated the environment, using VMware vsphere and Vcenter. Results: Centralized hardware to optimize TCO and utilization of hardware resources (100%) and reduce operational costs, including power/space/cooling. Successfully implemented green IT strategy.
