- Data Center Implementation: Duration: 1.5 months. Team: 4. Budget: $150k (for setting up the virtual infrastructure). Challenge: To design/administrate a centralized server and desktop consolidation program. Actions: Wrote the strategy document and designed/administrated the environment, using VMware vsphere and Vcenter. Results: Centralized hardware to optimize TCO and utilization of hardware resources (100%) and reduce operational costs, including power/space/cooling. Successfully implemented green IT strategy. - Dell Power Edge/Equalogic Installation: Duration: 2 days. Actions: Installed/configured of Dell Power Edge R710 servers, Dell M1000 e chassis, Dell M610 blade servers, Dell Equalogic PS 4000, 6000 series, Dell Power Connect 5448 switch into Dell 42u Rack.
