1-Collaborating with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs. 2-Translating strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning. 3-Overseeing company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met 4-Ensuring effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention. 5-Adhering to company, federal, state, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary. 6-Analyzing internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement 7-Developing actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with shortterm and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CEO 8-Directly overseeing operations, HR, and accounting, and partner with the CEO on sales management to budget for sufficient investment capital to achieve growth targets over the near term. 9-Aggressively managing capital investment and expenses to ensure the company achieves investor targets relative to growth and profitability. 10-Monitoring performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting. 11-Maintaining and building trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
1-Managing the operations of the Cold End area production lines that includes managing the Float line, annealing Lehr
and Cutting line processes along with overseeing the shifts teams activities to ensure meeting the manufacturing
objectives, the performance standards and the company policies. 2-Ensuring the planned KPI’s of efficiency and
performance are met/exceeded. 3-Ensure implementation and evolution of safety procedures and ensuring that health
and safety guidelines are being followed. 4-Monitoring the product standards and ensure implementing the defined
quality-control programs. 5-Adjusting the productions schedules as necessary. 6-Implementing and driving continuous
improvement activities through implementation of change management processes and best practices. 7-Overseeing the
maintenance department activities in the Cold End area. 8-Ensure that orders were covered and delivered in
communication with production planning, sales and dispatch. 9- Coaching and tracking competencies of the
subordinates, teams’ responsibles and developing/implementing the skills development program for technicians to meet
the business` objectives. 10- Managing the activities of implementing the standard operating procedure for all
area production processes. 11- Ensure the complete compliance to prescribed IMS and 5S processes. 12-
Supporting/enhancing the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) lean-six sigma approach/projects in different areas as a
member in the WCM steering committee.Cold End
1-Managing the day-to-day operation of float glass production line and overseeing the shifts team to ensure meeting
the manufacturing objectives, the performance standards and the company policies. 2-Ensure implementation and
evolution of safety procedures and ensuring that health and safety guidelines are being followed. 3-Monitoring the
production processes and adjusting schedules as necessary. 4-Ensure the planned KPI’s of efficiency and performance
are met/exceeded. 5-Monitoring the product standards and ensure implementing the defined quality-control programs.
6-Implementing and driving continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management
processes and best practices. 7-Interacting among different departments e.g. the day-to-day maintenance, production
planning and administration. 8-Ensure that orders were covered and delivered in communication with production
planning, sales and dispatch. 9-Coaching and development of subordinates, teams’ responsibles and technicians and
implementing the skills development program to meet the business` objectives. 10-New recruits selection and tracking
competencies of subordinates. 11- Coordinate and implement standard operating procedure for all production
operations. 12- Ensure complete compliance to prescribed IMS and 5S processes. 13- Supporting/enhancing the World
Class Manufacturing (WCM) lean-six sigma approach/projects in different areas as a member in the WCM steering
committee.
After the start-up 1-Development of QC system for flat glass products in order to ensure and enhance the customers’
satisfaction throughout meeting their requirements and/or meeting the relevant quality standards. 2-Managing QC
team activities to enhance QC system development that enabled SGGE to get the CE mark certification four months
after the start-up and enabled getting the ISO9001certificate one year after, as per target time frame. 3-Reviewing the
production reports of float line to ensure/enhance the compliance to the QC system and report/define the nonconformities,
the relevant actions and remedy. 4-Dispositioning of the non-conforming products as per the different
customers needs and/or products applications in order to maintain and develop the customer’s
satisfaction/delightment. 5-Administrating and developing the Cognex SmartView system-Camera based automatic
inspection system- following installation and configuration then inspection and classifying parameters, inspection
control, reporting, control advisor and system maintenance. 6-Supporting/enhancing the World Class Manufacturing
(WCM) lean-six sigma projects as a member in WCM committee. 7-Handling customers claims global work flow and
supporting the customer service team and the relevant parties to properly analyze and handle customers’ claims. 8-
Checking and surveying customer’s satisfaction with the products/service performance and paying customer's sites visits
arrangement along with the Customer Service and sales teams.
Before/during the plant start-up 1-New recruits selection after finishing my technical overseas glass making training in
counterpart plants. 2-Leading and managing technical training activities of recruits/team operators to build-up/develop
their technical skills to the required level. 3-Managing and following-up the activities required for laboratory, off-line
and on-line control equipments and system readiness before the start-up.
1-Continuous development of QC system for hot rolling and skin passing processes in order to ensure/enhance the
customer satisfaction/ delightment, meeting their requirements and/or meeting the relevant quality standards. 2-
Reviewing production reports of hot rolling and skin passing lines to ensure/enhance on daily basis the compliance to
the quality control system and report/define the non-conformity issues and the relevant actions and remedy. 3-
Dispositioning of the non conforming products as per the different customers needs and/or products applications in
order to maintain and develop the customer’s delightment. 4-Checking and surveying customer’s
satisfaction with theproducts performance through continuous contact and paying customer's sites visits. 5-Handling customers
inquires/claims and supporting the sales team from the technical standpoint in topics related to commercial matters. 6-
Participating in major projects of developing the added value steel grades and continuously analyze/evaluate the
different modified and newly developed steel grades performance. 7- Team member in an internationally published
paper for newly developed steel grades in Ezzsteel compact strip plant that was published in the international materials
science forum and a best presented paper winner in Arabs iron & steel making conference 2008.
