 Promote awareness of the HSE MS throughout the firm organization and make sure the HSE MS is implemented throughout the entire organization.  Establish, monitor HSE-related KPIs, and take necessary action to meet project goals and objectives.  Recommend the acquisition of safety equipment, related supplies, and personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with established company criteria.  Audit and Inspection of workplaces, tools, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health laws.  Implement Health, Safety and Environmental policies in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards  Compile monthly HSE Statistics and submit report to management  To communicate efectively with clients and customers in order to understand their demands and to complete customer qualification audits.  Develop and Implement Health, Safety and Environmental policies in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards.  Monitoring the day-to-day management of Health, Safety, and Environmental issues.  Developing and maintaining safe working procedures and HSE plans as necessary for controlling site and associated ofice normal or emergency activities.  Checked HSE requirements in work method statements, risk assessments and permit to work procedures.  Oversight of HSE teams regarding procedure development and on-site implementation.  Developed and implemented training programs for current employees related to health safety and environment.

Assist in keeping track of all HAZOPs action items and updating the checklist in relation to the risk assessment.
To establish a long-lasting Zero Incident Mindset Team and foster an interdependent culture, provide coaching and mentoring to site staff.
Responsible for being accountable in all regulatory inspections and audits (such as the SCDF/NEA audit, the FM audit, the ISO 14001, 45001 audit, HSE audit, and others)
Developed and implemented training programs for employees and contractors related to health safety and environment.
Examine the HSE data to find patterns and opportunities for development.
Prepare and deliver management reports on HSE and security performance on a regular basis.
Accountable and in charge of the health and safety of contractors working under their direct supervision.
Verify the functionality and integrity of shops, vessels fire safety and safety equipment by conducting routine checks and inspections.

Inspection of EHS emergency procedures and make changes accordingly and report to concerned department.
 Assist/participate in preparation/revision of EHS risk assessments, method statements, safe work plan & rescue plan,
documentation of safety records & inspection records.
 Performing periodic inspections around the premises and to ensure EHS compliance.
 Assist department in Accident/Incident/near miss reporting and investigation.
 Participate in EHS regulation and standard revision meeting with senior management and implement the new regulation
according to government standards.
 Conduct Health & Safety meeting and coordinate hazardous works being carried out onboard vessel and company
premises
 To advise concerned departments in planning and implementing EHS safety measures to eliminate hazards.
 Promote awareness of injury prevention, environmental pollution and property damage control to all levels of
employees.
 Coordinate all site safety activities and services in the event of an emergency
 Ensure that adequate spill kit, fire fighting equipment is provided, maintained and inspected on site.
 Conduct training and Project specific orientation to all level of employees and clients.
 Enforce safety regulation, permit to work system, reinforcing PPE and safe working procedures in the yard and onboard
vessels.

Develop and implement safety policies that would help employers to reduce accident and prevent losses.
 Enforce Health & Safety Regulations and Standards; and assured personal protective equipment is worn for the tasks and
procedures are being followed.

 Suggest corrections and follow up to correct violations; analyze hazards and develop ergonomic risk assessments for public
and non-public areas.
 Maintain and implement site Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) plan, fire fighting plan, emergency evacuation plan.
 Carry out safety inspections as well as attended the HSE meetings and provide technical support related to HSE issues.
 Prevent workplace accidents/incidents by following routine inspections and plan safety arrangements at work places.
 Implement safe system, procedures of job at work place and also ensure the equipment and materials are safer for use.

Key Deliverables:
 Conduct Vessel Safety Co-ordination Committee meeting and coordinate hazardous works being carried out
onboard vessels and yard premises; take charge of assigned vessels, jack up rigs, under dry-dock repairs.
 Monitor all Health & Safety activities and ensure appropriate implementation; compliance to all determined standards for all
HSE programmes.
 Inspect all equipment and ensure compliance to all HSE regulations; administer all emergency response activities and
recommend improvements as per requirement.
 Perform site assessment and issue permit to perform safe work in shipyard and onboard vessel; carry out daily confined spaces
oxygen/gas monitoring.
 Provide assistance in any emergency response and oil pollution operation; investigation and report all accidents / incidents
occurring at workplace.
 Enforce safety regulation, permit to work system, reinforcing PPE and safe working procedures in the yard and onboard
vessels.
 Conduct various EHS inspection on daily, weekly and monthly basis in the yard and onboard vessel and submit report to
Safety Engineer / Safety Manager with recommended safety measures.

To conduct HSE induction and other training programs as required.
Taking charge of Environment health and safety issues of entire yard including Vessels.
Implementation of Risk management and all other relevant procedures.
Responsible for Incident and near miss investigation and follow up.
Safety management system implementation in line with the OHSAS - 18001 / ISO 14001 requirements.
