Roles and responsibilities:
• Supervise the execution of projects, including inspection, approval and conformity.
• Review and approve workshop drawings.
• Review and approve submittals of materials and samples.
• Carry out site inspection frequently in order to verify the quality of construction.
• Ensure that the assigned contractor is applying quality systems according to the required technical specifications and drawings.
• Review and approve the quantity surveying for the executed works.
• Verify Contractor's invoices and raise it to my manager for approval.
• Prepare and submit regular reports such as progress, status and briefs in order to provide required information to Management.
• Prepare and submit technical specification, drawings and BOQ for new tenders.
• Review and approve some of technical specification for new tenders prepared by other engineers.
• Respond to bidder’s inquiries and evaluating their technical offers.
• Manage some internal executive work teams, such as (construction and finishing team, waterproofing team, concrete repair team), which consist of several technicians and labors.
• Perform field inspections for requests and letters received from various facilities and preparing a detailed technical report on it including requirements, statement, quantities, sketches and recommendations.
• Transfer incoming requests to specialized executive teams and if the work size is large or there are no specialists then a project proposal is studied.
• Lead a team of specialized engineers in a many diverse projects with different aspects of work.
• Provide technical advice and problem solving to my co-workers.
• Train, educate and mentor the new engineers and co-workers.
• Assist the Quality Department in preparing quality assurance templates for projects.
Types of projects worked on:
• Build warehouses from steel hangers structure.
• Construct underground reinforced concrete water tanks.
• Construct a reinforced concrete retaining walls.
• Build a Concrete block fence.
• Build a 3-storey residential building.
• Supply and installation of waterproofing and thermal insulation systems for the roofs of various buildings.
• Supply and installation of waterproofing for bathrooms with plumbing and tiling works.
• Supply and installation of general site and landscape works from cement tiles, interlock tiles, artificial grass and Rubber tiles.
• Supply and installation of Artificial grass for football fields.
• Preparing temporary sites in the desert (porta-cabins, water tanks, septic tanks, external lighting, fences and doors, electric generators, furniture).
• Fitting out works and carry out changes and modifications on the spaces of building or general sites to make suitable and ready for occupancy.
• Build a small mosque for a soldiers club.
• Construct sheds for car parking.
• Covering internal and external yards with sheds of structural tension system and PVDF sheets.
