GT generator cooling medium is hydrogen. Hydrogen is supplied to all GT generator thro common headers. My responsibility is Start & shutdown the Hydrogen plant, operation of chiller unit for H2 generator and H2 compressor and refills the portable/non portable H2 cylinders
POWER SIDE: Smooth Startup, safe shutdown Gas turbine when ever required in both Natural Gas and Light Fuel oil and efficient running, Monitor/control the gas turbine unit through DCS.
Immediately report to superior for any abnormal/activities and take necessary action when ever need.
Raise the work order to Maintenance Department for defective items and repeated alarms and Isolate the Equipment as per LOTO procedure for maintenance dept to work safely.
Follow the schedule change over plan for
Prepare Daily/Monthly Report and optimize the Auxiliary power consumption
Conversant with GE Mark VI-Toolbox system for Gas turbine controls and protection
Able to read and understand the DCS and PLC logics.

ELECTRICAL SIDE: Total Electrical system operations in Generator Transformers, Station transformers, unit Transformers, 13.8kv, 11kv, 6.6kv, 4.16kv and 480 V Switchboards with/without HSBT And Operation of Block diesel generator while total grid failure to start Gas turbine and start auxiliaries to bring to normal condition
Experience in 110 KV switchyard operation including outgoing feeders isolation and normalization work.

DESALINATION PLANT: Responsible for efficient and safe operation of five Desalination plants (5x14=70 MIGD) including star-up /shutdown desal plant, chemical preparation (antiscale, antifoam, sodium sulpite) for desal and operation of desalination heat exchangers online tube cleaning system.
BLENDING PLANT: Start-up /shutdown of blending plant along with desalination plant And including Lime stone filter regeneration, polyelectrolyte preparation for sludge reservoir.
CHLORINATION PLANT: hypo chloride generator operation including start/stop, Acid wash for hypo-chloride generator for every 2 month interval period. Poly electrolyte preparation for gravel and carbon filters and gravel/carbon filters regeneration, shock dosing and continuous dosing for sew water intake.
Operation of seawater pump house and portable water pump house.
Fire protection systems including electric/diesel fire hydrant pumps and deluge system.

Conversant with GE Mark VI-Toolbox system for Gas turbine controls and protection and analyze the problem by using Mark VI-Toolbox.
Responsible for Smooth and Efficient running of the Gas Turbine.( GE Fr. 6FA) and Starting up ( Cold start/Hot start) and shut down whenever required .
Conversant with GE MARK-V speedtronic control system for Gas turbine controls, monitoring and protection..
ON line Water Wash and OFF line Detergent/water wash of the compressor due to Fouling for better performance of the Gas Turbine Periodically.
Responsible for smooth and safe running of the Steam turbine along with Gas Turbine in combined cycle mode with good efficiency.
Responsible for efficient and safe operation of the Heat Recovery Steam generator.
Monitoring, controls and protection with Pro control ( Distributed control system)
Operation of Gas Booster compressor including purging and sealing
Operation of Instrument Air/ process air Compressor and N2 plant.
Operation of Generating Transformers, Station Transformers and
Unit Auxiliary Transformers.
Operation of HT and LT switch gear systems.
Station battery banks & chargers operations.
Operation of 800 KVA Cummins make diesel generator.
