Similar to that of a Foreign Service Officer but working exculsively within the confines of global health diplomacy. I handled the portfolios of Middle East and ASEAN. My responsibilty was to safeguard Singapore's national healthcare interests in dealings with WHO, ASEAN member states and the Middle East countries.Policy formulation and diplomacy and international relations entailed me to embrace both operational and analytical aspects of the job.
Mainly administrative in nature. Also, had to contribute towards Law Enforcement and Security whenever there wasa manpower crunch or for major events.
I was awarded the Singapore Technologies Engineering Gold Medalfor being the most outstanding student for the degree of Master of Science (International Relations) at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), which is a Graduate School of the Nanyang Technological University.
