• Oversee the safe and efficient operation of offshore production facilities, including oil and gas treatment,
Gas condensate stabilization, Gas dehydration, Gas sweetening, Produced water treatment,
Gas compression, Centralized control room operations, Crude oil storage, Loading, Gas export,
Gas injection, and associated utilities.
• Ensuring daily production targets are met and established procedures are followed to minimize outage.
• Review daily shift records, identify inefficient operation and take corrective actions & achievements.
• Lead and manage facility operations during emergencies such as fires, oil/gas leaks, toxic gas releases, or
chemical spills, implementing mitigation measures and preventing escalation.
• Direct the emergency response team, On-Scene Commander, and rescue teams.
• Review and update Standard operating procedures (SOP) and check sheets before handing over the plant to
maintenance teams for repairs or modifications, in line with company procedures and policies.
• Prepare daily and monthly performance reports for Senior management review, lead Production Planning,
Management of Change (MOC), KPI Monitoring, Audit Preparation and identify opportunities for continuous
improvement.
• Ensure Team Supervision, Shift Management personnel motivation, resolve employee concerns, and address
issues in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills, recover from process upsets, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA),
troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational tasks.
• Provide technical and operational support to maintenance and project operations support teams.
• Oversee and guide production plan, maintenance work in the plant, ensuring adherence to procedures.
• Ensure ongoing projects such as green field, brownfield and integrated projects are executed safely and with
minimal impact on ongoing plant operations.
• Be accountable for the assigned projects Punch List Management, Pre commissioning, Commissioning, PSSR
activities and Operations Readiness in accordance with Project management Framework & Company
guidelines.
• Approve work methods and plans to optimize plant shutdowns, Turnaround Planning and achieve planned
activity objectives.
• Provide operational data to engineering and support departments for new projects and review/comment on

• Oversee and control the operations of crude oil treatment, natural gas processing, produced water
treatment, and subsea oil and gas export activities.
• Ensure process execution meets targeted production levels while maintaining specified quality standards.
• Coordinate and plan daily production, maintenance, and construction activities to ensure optimal safety,
operational uptime, and minimal environmental impact.
• Operate large-scale gas industry facilities using the FOXBORO - Invensys DCS panel, handling plant operation,
startup, stabilization, and shutdown both from the DCS panel and field.
• Manage workforce ethically, support production feasibility, and ensure effective monitoring and oversight.
• Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports, including defining activity plans and setting performance
targets for the asset organization.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills in recovering from process upsets, performing DCS trend analysis,
troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational tasks.
• Offer technical and operational support to the maintenance and project operations support teams.
• Manage pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for expansion projects.
• Regularly visit field operations as necessary to oversee both critical and routine activities.
• Promote safety awareness within the team and manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
• Ensure proper handover procedures during shift and crew changes.
• Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Task Risk Assessments (TRA), and Temporary Work Instructions (TWI) for
major maintenance activities.
• Continuously monitor process parameters (well trends) and make decisions during emergencies.
• Coordinate with production and control room operators for plant operation, startup, stabilization, and
shutdown, serving as an effective team leader.
• Manage safety systems and technical aspects such as service quality, maintenance, risk identification, and
elimination.
• Control and maintain process parameters according to technical requirements, reporting to the Operations
Manager.
• Lead emergency response actions, including rescue operations, Emergency Shutdown (ESD), and Fire and
Gas System (FGS) management.
• Monitor and report on process parameters and values, preparing Daily Production Reports (DPR) for the
Production Superintendent or Operations/Production Manager.
• Oversee the PTW system, including work permits for confined space entry, hot works, cold works, and open
flames.
• Ensure completion of relevant work audits, such as Permit to Work and safety audits.
• Monitor and audit relevant records, registers, and logbooks, and generate necessary reports.

Field : Heavy oil EPF & Light oil JPF production, produced water treatment, Gas compression &
Natural Gas treatment Facilities. (Umm Niqa, Sabriya & East Roudhatain facilities)

• Manage hazardous hydrocarbons such as LPG, LNG, NGL, natural gas, ethane, propane, butane, gasoline,
ethylene, propylene, acetylene, hydrogen, and other hydrocarbons.
• Oversee and control operations of the LNG Regasification Unit, LNG ship unloading, jetty terminal
operations, LNG export, boil-off gas compressor unit, gas distribution, and metering stations.
• Leverage extensive experience in large-scale gas industry operations using the Honeywell Experion DCS panel
for plant operation, startup, stabilization, and shutdown, both from the DCS panel and in the field.
• Work with ethane, LPG, and NGL in the Pyrolysis Cracker (USC), heat recovery systems, turbine-driven
multi-stage centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, and expanders/compressors.
• Handle cryogenic systems including de-methanizers, de-ethanizers, de-propanizers, de-butanizers, ethylene
and propylene refrigerant splitters, cold boxes, and pressure swing adsorption units.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Provide technical and operational support to the project operations support team.
• Conduct on-the-job training, facilitate Toolbox Meetings (TBM), prepare daily production reports (DPR),
develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), review and update P&IDs, and participate in HAZOP studies
as a team member of HARC (Hazard Analysis Risk & Control).
• Perform DCS panel activities including loop checking, functional testing, logic diagram reviews, and startup
procedures.
• Troubleshoot abnormalities and failures to optimize production and assist the manager in implementing
corrective measures.
• Control and maintain process parameters according to technical requirements.
• Manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system, including work permits for blinding, de-blinding, hot works, cold
works, confined space entry, and open flames.
• Have experience in production operations using DCS, fire and gas detection systems, and automatic
emergency shutdown (ESD).
• Handle startup, shutdown, and emergency operations.
• Ensure safe operations of the unit by adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Act as an active commissioning engineer for the pre-commissioning and commissioning of new projects.
• Prepare check sheets, punch points, and cross-check data sheets for rotating and static equipment.
• Develop pre-commissioning packages for air blowing, leak tests, reinstatement, dry out, readiness for
startup (RSU), and pre-startup safety reviews (PSSR).
• Coordinate with vendors to arrange commissioning procedures safely.
• Collaborate with clients to complete commissioning documentation and witness sheets.

• Operate and manage the Crude Stabilization Unit (with three operational trains), Natural Gas Treatment
Plant, Dehydration Units (MEG and TEG), Produced Water Reinjection Unit, Gas Lift Booster Compressor
Unit, Multi-Stage Centrifugal Compressor Unit, and Chemical Injection Unit.
• Execute line pigging for production fluids (crude oil) and injection water pipelines.
• Handle various dosing chemicals, including pour point depressants, biocides, oxygen scavengers, corrosion
inhibitors (MEG), and scale inhibitors.
• Conduct routine checks of all process equipment.
• Report abnormalities and equipment failures to the supervisor and implement corrective measures.
• Independently operate, control, and maintain process parameters from the DCS panel (YOKOGAWA CS
1000/3000) and in the field.
• Troubleshoot process operations during critical and emergency situations.
• Manage startup, shutdown, and emergency operations, and assist with well tests and wireline operations.
• Operate plant utilities such as RO plants, cooling towers, instrument air compressors, and gas turbines.
• Oversee crude oil storage, oil import and export jetty operations, and gas distribution metering systems.
Monitor and execute plant startups and shutdowns according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Control and operate gas lift booster compressors, high-capacity water injection pumps, produced water
treatment units, fired heaters, and emergency startup and shutdown systems.
• Act as a firefighter during unit fires and use personal H2S detectors as needed.
• Trained in H2S safety, permit-to-work systems, and handling hazardous chemicals.
• Experienced in using fire extinguishers (foam, DCP, CO2), fire and gas detection systems, fire hydrants, and
monitors.
• Manage startup, shutdown, and emergency operations, and handle work permits for process and positive
isolations, hot works, cold works, and open flames.
• Hold certificates for confined space entry, electrical isolation, and conduct authorized gas testing.
• Maintain the Permit Status Tracking System (PSTS) for the PTW system, including work permits for blinding,
de-blinding, hot works, cold works, and open flames.
• Experience in production operations using DCS, fire and gas detection systems, and auto ESD.
• Operate and manage onshore and offshore production facilities, including gas metering, oil export, well
testing operations, pigging, logging, flare units, API gravity pits, water injection units, fine filter backwash,
storage tank gauging, oil and gas sampling, and chemical dosing.

• Managed operations of the Gas Treatment Unit, fixed-bed catalytic tubular reactor, vacuum distillation unit,
packed-bed distillation column, heat recovery systems, turbo blowers, and reciprocating compressors.
• Conducted Toolbox Meetings and on-the-job training; coordinated with plant maintenance and arranged shift
schedules for field and control room operators.
