• Leadership and control over all network operations center (NOC) activities including network trouble ticket (TT) handling, monitoring/surveillance, incident and fault management, service performance monitoring for service quality, evaluate network SLA, KPIs & TT reports by performing data analysis, governing escalation and notifications processes .
• Engaged in the selection process of converged network managed service partner (Huawei) responsibilities included authoring various schedules of the RFP, reviewing/ evaluating the vendors response, demonstrating reverse due diligence sessions and performing SLA/ KPIs negotiations.
• Successfully led the implementation of white list sites process (WLS) where the target was raising the quality of 30 % of the network sites above 90%, and took control over all interventions done over these sites after being rectified through action plans monitoring, random surveillance and FM team’s attendance with contractors and suppliers to maintain the site quality.
• Engaged in the Network Unavailability ratio (NUR) enhancement project and led the enhancement actions by performing deep investigation and processing all given reports to figure out all required preventive /corrective actions that will enhance the NUR figures, and managed in reducing the NUR values by 57% in one year
• Took the lead in handling the very important sites (VIS) Enhancement Project in which I was responsible for identifying the root cause for each VIS site outage, taking quick corrective and preventive actions in order to maintain the VIS stability and availability, following up the pending needed actions with all concerned team and governing escalations, succeeded in performing 6265 preventive/corrective actions the total cost of these actions was “4M EGP” while the ROI was around “188M EGP”
• Handled a 3G upgrades and modifications project in which I was responsible for the execution of all 3G upgrades requested by planning and roll out teams and reported on daily basis to the requested team and on monthly basis to the top management
• Normal activities starting from field maintenance activities for assigned work orders and following up alarms (Power, High Temperature ….etc.) and down sites, leading the subcontractor’s intervention till complete resolution.
• Reporting on hourly basis the network hourly updates to the management and Being on call 24/7 for any technical problem that needs site intervention.
