Manages whole operation of the pharmacy under the supervision of Clinic Operations Manager. Answering queries from clinicians about medications, helping them in procuring new medicines into the formulary. Dispensing medicines as per the prescription. Purchase requests for the pharmacy is made on monthly basis to the procurement department so that always maintain proper stocks to serve the patients on timely manner. Counselling the patients on usage of medicines and general adverse effects.
Dispensing medicines as per the prescription by clinicians. Answering queries on medicines from patients and healthcare team. Requesting inventory refilling as per the needs. Manages expirations
Accurately dispensing drugs to patients according to a doctor’s prescription. Checking prescriptions for errors & making sure they are appropriate for patients. Contacting and working closely with other healthcare professionals. Answering questions from patients and staff about medicines. Ensuring the accuracy of all prescriptions, products and services supplied. Managing and resolving complaints. Talking to regular patients to see how their treatment is going. Communicating with customers sympathetically and supportively. Maintaining pharmaceutical stock, creating inventories and ordering more drugs.
