Duties/responsibilities:
¥ Source for new suppliers
¥ Negotiate and define price, quality, service and payment parameters.
¥ Review and update current prices and quotations.
¥ Build up contracts with suppliers.
¥ Assess and rank suppliers based on KPIs.
¥ Localization for imported raw material.
¥ Define procurement strategy for local suppliers and foreign suppliers
¥ Define and implement action plans to reduce purchasing costs.
¥ Monitor and report cost saving on monthly basis.
¥ Provide market study for any commodity.
¥ Place purchase orders upon
request from planning department for local and imported materials.
¥ Managing MRP for local components
To Source and manage suppliers in order to optimize cost, quality and service level for raw materials and consumables.
• Managing and scheduling of material flow to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Requests resources from vendors and monitors scheduled deliveries from them.
• Monitoring inventory levels of components, raw materials, and co-ordinate with suppliers and logistics department to maintain adequate levels from parts and raw materials to manufacture the products and recommends them as alternatives to process departments.
• Expedite materials from vendors when there are delays in delivery or sudden demand increment.
• Selects suppliers based on the approved supplier list or in compliance with sourcing procedure, completes purchase orders ensuring they are clear and complete as per procedures in effect.
• Monitors / analyses sleeping stock, dead stock, excess materials and recommends them as alternatives to technical departments.
• Continually work to improve delivery times, cost and quality of materials from vendors; Co-ordinates with purchasing department to improve performance service level of vendors and works with quality department for quality improvement.
• Co-ordinates with purchasing department changes and updated requirements for purchased goods and materials.
• Co-ordinates with production planning to determine the resources necessary to meet the production needs
• Co-ordinates with suppliers, originators and other departments as necessary, all technical and commercial matters e.g. letters of credit, etc. Follows up with logistics, Finance departments to ensure progress, and provides feedback to production planning on delivery schedules.
• Data base periodic updating for planning parameters.
• Establishes, maintains good working relations with suppliers and internal customers.

> Primary and final separation processes for natural gas and equipment used for accomplish the process
