Consultancy services which include design works and approval of drawings, equipment, site
acceptance test (SAT) and factory acceptance test (FAT) procedures, and witnessing the testing and

This project 380/110 kv BSP substation is projected for the power supply to the proposed project Jeddah Industrial
City whereas the Client is “THE SAUDI INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY AUTHORITY (MODON)” and the Project
Management by “SAUDI ELECTRICITY COPMPANY” and the Main Contractor is M/s AL-GIHAZ undertaking all
Civil and MEP works. This substation consists of 5 buildings in which 2 GIS buildings(380kv & 110kv), 2 Switchgear
buildings (13.8kv & 33kv) and one Control building along with Gantries, Transmission towers, Transformers, Capacitor
bank, Surge Arrestor’s, Fire Pump House, Telecom Shelter and a Guard House with the total area of 9000 sq.m
This project has six 380/110 kv Sub-stations provided for the High Speed Haramain Railway from Mecca to Madinah
where the Client is Saudi Electricity Company with the Engineering Consultant as M/s. Saudi Engineering
Group International and the Main Contractor is M/s. Al-Fanar.co undertaking all Civil and MEP works. HHR-1
Sub-station consists of 5 buildings in which 2 GIS buildings(380kv & 110kv), 2 Switchgear buildings (13.8kv & 33kv)
and one Control building along with Gantries, Transmission towers, Transformers, Capacitor bank, Surge Arrestor’s,
Fire Pump House, Telecom Shelter and a Guard House with the total area of 353100 sq. ft.
Job Responsibilities:
* Overseeing the preparation of shop drawings, material submittals for approvals.
* Inspect and supervise the works in accordance with spec/drawings and statutory regulations.
* Record all changes on site and review As-Built drawings & Submissions.
* Inspection of the works completed on site.
* Issue site instruction necessary for unacceptable work practice at site.
* Monitoring the project during execution of MEP services with respect to civil structures and ensures works are
done as per scheduled.
* Assist the Project manager in reviewing HVAC, Fire fighting and Fire Alarm drawings, submittals etc. as per
the local authority requirements and approval.

This project falls under the core area of Mirdiff, developed by the one of the Master-Developers M/s. Masjid Al futtaim
(MAF) with the Engineering consultant as M/s. MACE and the Main contractor as M/s. Al Jaber LEGT Engineering &
Contracting (ALEC). Mirdiff City Centre comprises 3, 116, 451 sq. ft of gross floor area spread over a service basement,
ground, and first floor. The mall contains 430 shops with adjacent 3 levels parking for over 7000 cars and is anchored
by a Carrefour hypermarket, a Magic Planet Entertainment zone that will contain a fabulous sky diving experience as
well as indoor 5-a-side football pitches.
Project Name: 7WX- Dubai Marina Promenade
This project has 6 High Rise Residential towers varying from 45 to 50 storeys in height with common podium
car parking. The podium contains commerce, parking, deluxe villas, and a landscaped roof with swimming pools,
decks, community spaces and recreational facilities. Which is coming in the residential area of Dubai marina,
developed by EMAAR Properties and the main contractor is Nasa Multiplex and consultant is Mace. A&B is the
lead MEP consultants, and is responsible for all project phases from design development to construction supervision.
Job Responsibilities:
The following are the roles and responsibilities, undergone during the previous experience, being worked from a MEP
Contractor side.
* Regular visit to sites and make sure the works are in progress as per project schedule and inspect the works
and arrange for inspections with the consultant and also co-ordinate with the respective engineers and
supervise the foremen and look into practical difficulties encountered while executing the works and suggest
the suitable solutions in time.
* Preparation of Material Submittals and Method of Statements for the Works.
* Follow method statement for any activity desired by the consultant to assure the quality to the satisfaction of
the consultant/client. Get the shop drawings prepared based on the consultant drawings and submitting the
same to consultant for approval and after approval incorporate the changes in the drawing and release /issue
the copy to site for work progress.
* Attending the progress meetings and inform the consultant/client about the progress by submitting the
reports like material procurement status and shop drawing summary.
* Monitor percentage of work done against percentage actual work to be done and arrange technical meetings,
which require special coordination for MEP services and specialized services with the consultant.
* Selection of Equipment’s, sending Quotations for the same and to finalize the order for Equipment’s.
* Arrange for proper installation, testing and commissioning of all the systems in the scheduled time.
* Responsible for execution, supervision and co-ordination of all Mechanical works.
* Troubles shoot the units and rectifying the fault/problems.
* Allocating work orders to the technician/supervisors for breakdown/preventive maintenance and Supervision
of the workforce.
* Responsible for Estimation of Quantity, Indent of Material, and follow up with the suppliers to deliver the
materials to site in time with respect to work schedule.
* Procurement of Materials as per site requirement.
* Preparing Interim payments of the domestic sub-contractors for the works done at site.
* Coordinate with the main contractor /civil contractor for getting all necessary information like the
Architectural, Structural & Services drawing for necessary starting of shop drawings.
* Responsible for co-ordination with the QA/QC department for MIR and WIR done in time.
* Follow the safety pre-cautions before and while executing all Mechanical works.

Managing the consultant and contractor teams for MEP Project delivery
Lead the consultant MEP senior team to coordinating with Client Contractor
team consisting of MEP Engineering Manager and other Lead Engineers and
Project Managers.
