Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the submarine projects planning and implementation.
• Preparing Project Initiation’s documentation.
• Reporting the project progress to the management periodically.
• Monitoring actual expenditure figures against project budget and time.
• Monitoring and managing all contractors\Vendors within each project.
• Settle the projects aspects within the company’s standards & KPIs.
• Responsible for any submarine project’s upgrade.
• Notifications for planned and unplanned events to all stake holders and consortium members.
• Coordination with cross-functional teams to adhere to the defined processes & KPI's.
• Coordination with NOC, other cable stations & Vendors.
• Preparation & analysis of Equipment & NW performance reports.

♦ Network switching spoke in the emergency, outage and crisis situations.
♦ Responsible for arranging the internal & abroad training courses for the switching’s
team members upon the affordable budget.
♦ Participating in adjusting and editing the different SLAs between the switching team
and other teams.
♦ Responsible for preparing the weekly incidents report with comprehensive details,
problem's root-cause and appropriate solutions.
♦ Auditing every shift-report and follow up with the assigned switching trouble-tickets &
SRs.
♦ Distribute the shift load and different daily tasks on the team members.
♦ Follow up with the escalated problems-CSR- to the different vendors (i.e. E///,
Huawei).

♦ Back-office duties including: Troubleshooting GSM network nodes including MSC,
BSC, BTS, MGW, RNC.
♦ Dealing with different platforms of Ericsson’s production, AXE 10 & 810 with
different APZ versions (i.e. 33, 40 & 50), including IOG-20, APG 40 & 43 with
the latest S/W package “AGM19”.
♦ Dealing with the CPP platform as a role of our access and traffic control, RNC with
S/W version “P6&7” & MGW “3024”with configuration “GMP2.0, 2.1 & 3”.
♦ Strong “hands on” experience with the MO-Shell for advanced CPP problems
troubleshooting.
♦ Handling alarms on both Core & Access nodes and dealing with it more accurately to
achieve the best levels of QoS and optimum KPI’s.
♦ Dealing with customers complains, (i.e. silent calls, drop calls, can’t receive &
initiate calls, MNP problems….etc.)
♦ Escalate different alarms to the appropriate team or to the second level support.

♦ Carrying out the operation and maintenance routines for Engine (EIN.3.1) sites
of Telecom Egypt for (AXE10), (IOG20) and (AXD- 301) “ERICSSON” nodes
through the Multi-Network Operation Support System (MN-OSS).
♦ Full responsibility of the PSTN Ericsson’s Exchange for monitoring,
troubleshooting, H/W intervention and DT (i.e. B#analysis, RC, Route-
creation…etc.)
♦ Executing different types of Traffic-Reports through the MN-OSS applications as
a vital role enabling the planning department.
♦ Managing the interconnection between the MN-OSS and its’ sites (LEASED-LINES
& SERVERS).

♦ Preventive and corrective (Alarm) maintenance for Mobinil sites.
♦ Maintaining and operating radio equipments related to GSM (Antennas, MW, BTS
for both types ALCATEL &MOTOROLA)
