- Supervision of day to day operations of offices, with particular emphasis on the effectiveness of the internal organization of departments and the quality and

report distribution.
- Compile an Annual Operating Plan.
- Review, plan and monitor Retail departments.
- Review incoming and outgoing cables.
- Monitor implementation of Audit Recommendation.
- Hold overall responsibility for the relationship with Service Delivery.
- Ensure that all official documentation (such as trade license) is up to date and
valid.
- Collate and provide operational Management Information (MI) that supports the effective running of the branch and continuous improvement.
- Document the completion of Mandatory Learning for all branch staff.
- Sample HUB logs of staff to ensure that customer information has not been
accessed by unauthorized individuals.
- Acts as the Business Information Risk Officer (BIRO) for the respective branch.
- Awareness of the operational risk associated with the role and the action to be
taken to minimize the likelihood of operational risk occurring including risk identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting.
- Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
