Integration and QC manager for the U.A.E National ID Card program sponsored by Emirates Identity Authority (EIDA), the solution is based on Smart Card and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technologies. The National ID (e-ID) card is the personal identity proof for the UAE citizens and residents, which is built on top-niche security products and standards. My main responsibilities are:
Develop a business plan for the National ID smart card in the UAE
Develop PKI policies and processes; Policy Authority - Key Ceremony…etc
Manage 3rd party integration with EIDA PKI system; Relying Parties and Service Providers such as UAE banks and Federal/Local eGovernment bodies
Plan and manager the program Quality Control (QC) and User Acceptance including;
- Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)

- User Acceptance Test (UAT); Functional and Non-Functional test including system high availability, system performance test, measurement, and propose potential enhancements at diverse system layers and components to meet the customer set KPIs

The portal is built based on J2EE platform and IBM suite of products for ePortal solution; Websphere Application Server (WAS), Websphere Portal Server (WPS), IBM Message Queue (MQ), Tivoli Access Manager (TAM), Tivoli Process Monitor, and LDAP server for user authentication.
