•GAS TURBINE: (6 x 55 MW) MITSHUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES (MHI). Model-MW701G.
•HEAT RECOVERY BOILERS:12 x 160 TPH Operation of single pressure (15 Bar) with supplementary fired
•AUXILIRY BOILERS: 10 x 80 TPH & 01 x 160 TPH, Operation of Gas fired Auxiliary Boilers.
•UTILITIES: Operation of Cooling Water System, Boiler Feed Water, Deaerator, Condensate Water System, Sea Water Pump Houses, Forwarding Pump Houses, Reservoirs, Instrument & Service Air compressor System Etc.
•Handling emergencies pertaining to plant caused by tripping / failure of equipments / systems including load shedding and fire
•To carry out normal shutdown/startup of power and steam generating equipments as instructed by Shift Charge Engr.
•To coordinate the sampling of raw materials and products as per schedule, analyze the results of these tests and take corrective action if required.
•Review the daily job planning and prepare/authorize all work permits as required by Maintenance persons and ensure safe working conditions for the Job.
•Planning of Jobs activities & Issued to permit of various department through e- permit system
•To prepare plant general Inspection report & updated every weekly schedule & same inform to respective department.
•Changeover of equipment according running hours and procedure of the instruction from control room.
•Prepare reports on daily & monthly production and chemical consumption.
•Carry out start up, shutdown, routine & emergency operation of the WHRB, Fuel Gas Metering & Reduction Stations, MSFE, SWP and Electro Chlorination plant etc. equipments as required.
•Everyday inspection all kind of measuring/controlling and auxiliary equipment for safe & smooth operation
•Check ignition and burner operation, including fuel pressure, steam pressure, visual appearance & combustion control system etc.
•Checking and recording all operational data of the process and equipments.
•Observe variations in operating conditions and interpret meter and gauges
readings.
•Assist Troubleshoot plant equipment to resolve operational problems.
•Check all sample test unit and water quality.
•Check daily operation trend, PLC System, DCS Monitoring, module status by PGP (Power Generation Portal) system, ABB.
•Ensure smooth operation of equipments to increase plant efficiency.
•Isolation and normalization of the equipments as per requirement.
•Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plant equipment and the entire generating unit. This includes the fuel system, circulating water systems, condensate/feed water systems, boiler systems, Distiller system, Sea Water system, and electrical systems.
•Estimates starting time for the idle generation units and follows prescribed start up procedures to bring units on line at a specified time. Changes the loading of Equipments as required from the Board or through the electronic control system.
•Reads meters and records data at specified intervals in appropriate logs and computers.
• Immediately reports malfunctioning equipment of abnormal meter readings/equipment performance to the Shift Charge engineer and completes the appropriate records. Performs troubleshooting and documentation and assists in the resolution of problems discovered during the shift.
•Ensures safety compliance of self and others. Performs all work in compliance with Safety Handbook. Issues equipment clearances and work permits. Develops and implements plant operating procedures.
•Verifies the satisfactory operation of equipment using P&I diagrams, charts, meters, controls and visual inspections.
•Teams with the work of other operations employees on shift to insure successful start-up, operation, and shut-down of units.
•Assists in on-the- job training of other employees.
