Tadawul Tower - KAFD (49 Floored Tower LEED_GOLD & Data Center-Tier IV)
Job Responsibilities
* Overall review of the Construction plan as per Approved baseline. Preparation of Schedule for each activity from first fix to Final fix.
* Coordinating with Design team for approval of Electrical Shop drawings, and to ensure that our drawing is in accordance with Fit-out and mechanical scope of work.
* Coordinating with design team for approval of Suppliers recommendation of cable trays and Cable trucking load calculation.
* Installation of 1st, 2nd & Final fix for Normal & Emergency lighting, Power, mechanical power.
* Installation of All the Electrical Equipment which includes MV Switchgears, Transformers, MVTS, MDB, SMDB, MCC, FDB, DTS & PFC panels.
* Cable termination for Distribution panels (SMDB, FDB, MCC, DTS & PFC panels).
* Preparation of method of statement & Getting approval from Consultant for site activities e.g. 1st
, 2nd & 3rd fix.
* Coordination with QC team for internal inspection for the executed works at site. Rectification of comments if any commented by QC team.
* Handling of Materials storage at site after the delivery and to get the approval of MIR from Consultant.
* Coordinating with Consultants for any technical issue related to execution of works at site, design change or any issue raising in the site due to site condition.
* Raising RFI to consultant/Client for any missing or unclear item.
* Attending Weekly meeting with Consultant on site progress and presenting 4 week look ahead Schedule for construction activities.
T & C and project hand over
* Coordination with suppliers & Sub-Contractors to get the documentation ready for Electrical Systems O & M Manuals, Method of statement for Testing & commissioning.
* Getting approval of T & C method of statement for Electrical equipment and accordingly to perform testing and commissioning of All the Equipment for Such as SMDB, MCP, FDB, MCC.
* Preparing 4 weeks look ahead schedule for testing & Commissioning for Electrical systems.
* Energizing & Startup for all the Mechanical power & Normal power system such as A.H.U, F.A.H.U, F.C.U, MSFD CONTROL Panel, CRAH Units, as well as Fire Alarm system.
* Individual testing & commissioning for MV & LV DG system, consisting of Dual switchgear, Parallel
switchgear, NGR Load bank.
* U.P.S system testing & commissioning which consists of control battery system.
* Load bank testing for utility power & Generators.
* Individual & integration testing for all the electrical, mechanical systems with BMS.
* Preparing schedule for testing & commissioning for electrical system in accordance with mechanical, BMS/ICT system readiness.
* Attending client meetings weekly and providing presentation for current progress, milestones achieved and planned activities.
* Fire alarm System testing & commissioning for standalone system as well as interfaces with all the other systems e.g. AHU, FAHU, PSF, SEF, NOVEC, ACS, VESDA, PAVA, MSFD, FF, FHC, Door Holder, BGM, Elevator, Fire Curtain, Fuel Oil System, Speed lanes, AV
system.
* Complete testing & Commissioning of Elevators, Escalators, Curtain Blind, Kitchen equipment etc.
* Implementation of testing & Commissioning of approved Cause & Effect matrix at the site.
* Leading the Civil Defense System approval for the project, from the fire & life Safety drawings approval to getting the final certificate for the project.
* Preparing documentation for O & M manuals for all the Electrical systems in Tower & Data center which includes CBS, LCS, MVSG, Transformers etc.

Job Responsibilities
* Preparation of Cable Schedules, Cable sizing, Voltage Drop calculations, Containment sizing, LV
Single line diagram, Distribution Board Schedules.
* Preparation of design drawings, shop drawings (layout drawings) & installation details for LV Power
& Lighting systems, Fire Alarm System in accordance with local regulatory codes.
* Preparation of cable tray layout with fixing details.
* Review of civil drawings for proper coordination of electrical services.
* Creating Cause & Effect matrix for Fire Alarm System.
* Preparation of material / sample submittal including product specification compliance statement
for electrical equipment viz. Transformer, MV & LV Switchgears, Generator, Cables & Wires, Light
Fixtures, Wiring Accessories, UPS, Isolation transformers, Containment System, Fire Alarm system,
Central Battery System.
* Review, comments & approval of technical material submittal submitted by vendor to commence
the procurement activity.
* Review, comments & approval of GA drawings & production drawings of vendors for manufacturing
clearance.
* Preparation of method statement for installation of electrical equipment.
* Liaising with draughtsman for quantity take-off.
Project: KAP 5 Project for the development of the Security Head Offices (5th Stage).
Job Responsibilities
* To ensure that all technical designs and specifications from Contractors are reviewed and in alignment with
the client’s specific requirements, to include High Voltage, Medium Voltage and Low Voltage.
* Effectively communicate and co-ordinate between all Electric team members and all other disciplines, to
ensure mutual awareness of requirements and sharing of information and common resources.
* Review and approve the shop drawings, Material Submittals with respect to the project Specification and
Standards of practice submitted by Contractors.
* Review responsibilities to subject matter experts as necessary. Review, and consolidate all electrical review
comments.
* Endorse all electrical deliverables produced by the Contractors.
* Review and provide inputs/comments on other discipline drawings and documents.
* Respond to technical queries during the Contractor tender periods. Review and Input during the tender
evaluation for the selection of Contractors.
* Provide review and inputs to resolve the technical issues, and change orders raised by the Contractor.
* Review Contractor’s material proposals against specified technical performance requirements and advise the
Technical Manager on the appropriateness of the proposals.
Supervision on the installation, testing & commissioning of the following systems.
* Medium voltage network & substations.
* Medium voltage switchgears MC-Set type (Schneider Electric).
* Power transformers 13.8\0.4 KV (ABB).
* DC system feeding the (Protection & Control Devices) of MVSGs (Schneider Electric).
* L.V Power distribution system: Transformers, Generators, M.D.B, MCC, ATS and UPS.
* AC Drives for Mechanical Equipment: Soft Starters, Variable Frequency Drives.
* Lighting, Earthing and Lightning Systems.
Coordinating Electrical milestones, time schedules with clients/consultants for all activities.
* Studying the contract specifications/requirements /drawings.
* Reviewing design drawings, load calculation, shop drawings, and material submittals.
* Reviewing method of statements and inspection sheets for all electrical activities.
* Studying Suppliers offers and make selection for all systems as per project specification.
* Prepare all the RFI, change request and other coordination documents.
* Coordinating and supervising all electrical activities with Mechanical / Civil / Building activities.
* Issue material takes off for site requirements follow up its delivery.
* Managing Inspection with QA/Qc’s and preparing snag lists.
* Review daily work plan program and prepare progress reports.
To give clearance & issue instruction to supervisor & Vendor for execution of electrical work.
* To check out whether work has executed as per approved drawing and standard or not.
* Monitoring the quality of work and material used as per project specification.
* Handling and Inspecting and certifying all Electrical activities.
* Supervision of Installation of cable tray, cable ladder and trunking.
* Supervision of Installation and Commissioning MV/LV Cable Lying.
* Supervision of Installation and Commissioning of MV/LV Panel & Distribution Board
* Supervision of Installation and Commissioning of Lighting & Power Wiring.
