To provide leadership in developing, communicating, reviewing, organizing, and preparing work scope, detailed work plan, and workable schedule.
Preparation of scope of work for columns, vessels, heat exchangers and identification of the required spare through SAP and assembly drawings.
Preparation of packages and technical evaluation of the package with a vendor to handle the job safely within the timeline
Preparation of execution schedule and optimize in PRIMAVERA to report the progress and update with S curve.
Monitor, review and updates scheduled activities and third party documents during execution safely, efficiently, and effectively.
Familiar with welding inspection and welding processes.
Familiar with Non-destructive testing methods like UT, RT, MT, PT.
Familiar with all mechanical drawings including P&ID, Isometric, structural and machines.
Familiar with the evaluation of structural, piping, ducting drawings and guide the supervisors for installation.
• Carried out detail TA planning for more than 7 units including refinery utlilities & flare. This plan include > 291 Fixed Equipment, Piping Replacement Packages, and large number of Pressure Relief Valves (PSVs) and Control Valves (CVs) Overhaul and recalibartions. In addition, execution of thre (3) Projects (Plant Modifications).
• Capture all Turnaround Scope from Inspection, Reliability, Operations, Projects and compile a detailed Work List for each Process Unit within the assigned Blocks.
• Develop a detailed plan and schedule in Primavera to cover the scope of work from work list.
• Conduct Cold Eyes Reviews on Work List Items with ExxonMobil Teams
• Review engineering drawings, isometrics and data books and develop Material Requirements for each work list item. This included required accessories such as Gaskets, Repair Kits, Spare Parts etc. as well as Process Consumanbles like Catalyst, Nitrogen, Flushing Oil etc.
• Raise Material Requisition (PRs and POs) for both Long-lead and Short-delivery items.
• Reserve warehouse stock materials and place orders for non-stock materials for TA Use.
• Raise Work Orders in the SAP for material, services etc
• Compile Contract Bids for each area and advise Contracting as and when required.
• Coordinate with the contractors and discuss progress updates, technical issues and safety issues.
• Plan and monitor the pre-TA fabrication works and availability of long lead items.
• Monitor Contractor Manpower and Resources, Mobilization and Specialized Skills Assessment (Welder Qualifications, Pipe Fitter Certifications).
• Coordinate with Quality Team concurrently on material specification verifications, Quality Control Plans, Welder and Pipe Fitter Certifications, TurnOver Plans and Bolted Flange Joint Management Programs.
• Follow-up Pre-TA Execition Works and tie-ins.
• Review method statements and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
Manage parts of a construction project (also known as packages), providing technical advice, supervising staff on site and ensuring that their packages are completed on time and within budget.
My role was to assist the project
engineer in managing new projects, coordinating with other personnel, and preparing material, equipment requisition and proposals to start the construction work.
