o Operation automation by creating easy to use programs for the operators, OS AIX, DB Oracle and application level as per IT and the business needs

-Plan and design the data centers requirements related to the operating systems and databases ensuring compliant with scalability, reliability and security controls.
-Plan and implement the installation and configuration of the AIX operations systems covering all required installation parameters as per the design; volumes, files systems, environment, network, user profiles and integration.
-Plan and implement the installation and configuration of the Oracle database and application servers covering the instances, schemas, controls, patching, users, etc.
-Develop and manage the backup plans with the 1st tier operation staff for data center servers with the necessary procedures including restoration testing.
-Develop operations and maintenance plans covering the processes and procedures, KPIs and communication plans with all departments including the escalation procedure.
-Responsible for the 2nd tier advanced operational activities reported by the 1st tier operations staff as per the defined processes and procedures to ensure the platform health and availability to the business.
-Plan and perform the system administration of the operating systems, storage and database covering the user administration, systems tuning, database performance tuning, security administration, etc and in-line with the change management procedures.
-Interacts with the 3rd tier support organizations within the suppliers and vendors to resolve issues and implement their guidelines and remedy actions.
-Develop and implement advanced scripting programs to automate the necessary procedures to enhance the operations efficiency of the data center servers (operating systems and databases).
-Develop enhancement plans for the hardware and software with recommendations to ensure meeting the growth future plans.
oResponsible of the end-to-end releasing process (development - testing - UAT- production) for several banking systems including Core banking system and Data warehouse.
oAdministration of multiple application servers and databases running.
oAdministration of different platforms covering windows 2000, 2003, Unix and AIX
oImplement automation and scripting using DOS, Java, Vb.net and Shell to simplify and increase the efficiency and effectiveness to administer and support JKB banking systems.
