Position: Senior Accountant
Assigned to work as Senior Accountant in the prestigious Ministry of Interior, KSA Southern Borders Housing Project, Jazan JV with El Seif Engineering and Contracting; Jabal Omar Development Project, Makkah JV with Drake and Scull Construction.
Handling account payables (subcontractors and vendors), preparing the reconciliation of the statement of accounts; generating aging reports through the SAP.
Handling bank transactions, preparing checks, and preparing correspondence letters to banks.
Bank reconciliation on the monthly basis, and visiting the bank for submitting various documents related to accounts.
Preparing debits notes to the JV Partners, checking staff & worker claims from partners.
Overall internal auditing of JV site claims administration, man-hours reporting of the staff and labor camps including accommodation and food supplies provisions.
Overlooking the petty cash claims keeping in view the actual monthly site limitations.
My prime responsibilities were handling the accounts payables, managing the accounts receivables; auditing all daily journals.
Posting JVs of local purchase transactions services rendered and fixed assels
Recording the supplier’s accounts and following up in case of discrepancies.
Posting bank transactions (transfers, bank charges).
Reviewing petty cash vouchers and posting JV’s related to them.
Managing transactions at the branch and posting sales entries in the sales report.
Fill-up the customer’s credit applications for installments, make calculation for down payments & monthly installments, and submitting forms to the banks for their approval.
