Designing Work Ability - Mechanical HVAC:
•Heat load calculation after building survey using CARRIER and ASHRAE standards by manuals and by latest HVAC software.
•Calculation of blower CFM, air distribution duct design following SMACNA and DW142 duct design codes, selection of diffusers, grilles G.I sheet etc. (McQuay Software).
•To prepare the selection of machines like FCU’s, AHU’s, Chillers, Pumps etc, on the basis of Heat Load calculations from respective models like Blue Star, Voltas and Carrier.
•Preparing the Air Distribution System for the complete design.
•Calculating the Duct Sizing according to the CFM by using McQuay Software.
•Calculating the Pipe Sizing for the chilled water system according to the GPM.
•Preparing the Pump Head Calculation for the selection of Pump Head.
•Preparing the Static Pressure Calculation for the selection of AHU Fan capacity.
•Preparing the Schematic drawing for the project HVAC System.

PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Monitoring HVAC, Plumbing, and firefighting work at site in coordination with other services by leading a team. Preparation and approval of shop drawings from the consultant and architect.
2. Complying with all Company Policies, Quality procedures, Statutory Regulations, Safety
Regulations and project Specifications
3. Ensuring that the Quality of material and installation work is in accordance with the approved construction program /acceptance criteria/specifications/approved materials and method.
4. Tracking Man-hours and productivity for all activities. Reviewing resources in line with the
Program me requirements.
5. Maintaining of material stocks / identifying shortfalls and with Engineering /procurement for action.
6. Ensuring that the work is completed in accordance with the approved Quality management and control system and in a safe manner.
7. Proactive Management of materials, labour and tools/tackles.
8. Coordinating and planning of day to day site activities/works with site staff.
9. Proactive coordination with civil/subcontractor for proper execution and planning.
10. Prepare and project any requirement with respect to materials, plant, tools & manpower
Or any other items required for timely/safe execution of MEP services/activities.
11. Provide all required inputs/information to the QS through CM with respect to the monthly progressive billing.
12. Keeping a record of the time spent to execute variations to assist the commercial department.
13. Exercising full control over the workforce on site.
14. Ensuring that the work is executed in accordance with the construction drawings, Specifications, agreed procedures and method statements in a safe manner.
15. Testing, Commissioning and handing over.
