I ensure that Golden sample and relevant format should be maintained always before carrying out any dishing out process. I assist the colleagues in their section, handle the equipment and food materials in a proper way to avoid damage and misuse. I follow instructions of seniors to help in smooth operations in the daily shift activities. I follow HACCP hygiene and quality standards and ensure proper documentation is done for all produced meals. I adhere to grooming and hygiene standards as outlined by the organization. I comply with all basic food safety standards as specified for the assigned job. I assist the supervisor to follow FIFO (First IN First OUT) for food handling such as raw materials and processed food at all times. Cleaning on a daily basis, all catering areas to the required standard. Rotating food stock on a regular basis. Receiving deliveries and then moving them to the kitchen storage areas. Following strict hygiene, health and safety rules. Emptying the dishwasher at regular intervals. Preparing salads and desserts. Attending training courses as and when required. Putting together and then dismantling specialist kitchen equipment. Taking cash or credit card payments from customers. Washing pots and plates until they are spotless. Emptying the kitchen bins regularly. Unloading deliveries from suppliers. Setting up tables and chairs in the kitchen area. Keeping the working area, kitchen and canteen clean and tidy. Applying hygiene and safety regulations. Maintaining the kitchen equipment, utensils and machinery.
