Project Kempinski Hotel Annex Project - Amman
Construction Management
The work consists of the construction, completion and maintenance in accordance
with the approved drawings, terms, scope and performance criteria contained in
this agreement. The project is located at Shemesani. The project is a new extension for the existing hotel (Annex) consisting of 10 floors inclusive of 3 parking and general facilities basements, 3 offices floors, and the remaining floors will be for kitchen, ballroom, multipurpose hall and restaurant. The total built up area of the project is approximately 12500m2. The objective of the project is to construct an outstanding five stars hotel annex on a land plot of an approximate area of 2200 m2.

Duties
- Managing contracts and works of four international Consultants, a joint venture of two local Consultants and the Contractor.
- Managing the project throughout the tendering and construction phases.
- Coordination, Monitoring, Support and Follow up of all design and construction activities.
- Maintaining the Client satisfaction towards the construction activities.
- Develop detailed procurement plan.
- Define the required contractual clauses in contracts.
- Provide guidance to the Client on any claim from a contractual point of view.
- Assuring that works are being implemented within the specified quality..
- Consolidate reports, define their structures and write the reports.

Duties: Following up current projects within Construction Management Department.
Project Abdali Boulevard Project
(Sector 2 of Abdali New Downtown for Amman) consists of:
Underground: four parking floors including technical spaces (approximately 2, 000 car parks, built up area approximately 110, 000 m²).
Twelve Separate Buildings (approximately 115, 000 m2 built up area) comprising of:
4 office buildings and 8 residential serviced apartments buildings (4 to 6 typical floors each building).
Retail and restaurant units at ground and mezzanine levels.
Commercial spaces dedicated for health clubs and restaurants at roof and top roof terraces.
External Works, including landscaping, pavement, urban furniture, external lighting, signage, planting, fountains, and four major tensile structures above piazzas, etc.
Duties: Supporting the Main Contractor (Saudi Oger) during the Final Architectural Finishes completion stage targeting handing over of the Project.
Project Quds Bank Headquarter and Tower Project
The project consists of 23 floors inclusive of 4 parking and general facilities basements, 5 retail floors, and the remaining floors will be for the Bank Branch and Bank’s Management Offices. The total built up area of the project is approximately 29000m2 . The objective of the project is to construct an outstanding tower on a land plot of an approximate area of 3300 m2 within the splendid El-Ersal Center Project in Ramallah, whereby the tower is strategically located in the business node at the higher southern edge of El-Ersal Center. The Quds Bank Headquarter and Tower Project will be a distinguished landmark which will manifest the image of the bank and maintain the sound investment environment of the Palestinian market. The project is being managed using the fast track approach and was divided into 5 construction packages.

Project Jordan Notional Financial Center Project
The objective of the project is to construct an outstanding project with an area of 95850 m2 nearby to the existing Jordan Securities Commission Building in Arjan Area. And also to establish a distinguished landmark that will unite all the cultural, social and economical aspects of Jordan’s capital market in compliance with the international standards and best practices, with the overall objective to maintain a sound investment environment that will encourage the foreign investment and will enforce market development and information regulations pertaining to the securities market. The project is being managed using the fast track approach and was divided into 6 construction packages.

Duties
-Participating in managing the project throughout the design and construction phases.
-Coordination, Monitoring, Support and Follow up of all design and construction activities.
-Maintaining the Client’s satisfaction towards the design and construction activities.

-Define the required contractual clauses in contracts.
-Provide guidance to the Client on any claim from a contractual point of view.
-Follow, on a weekly basis, implementation of the time-schedule for each package.
-Consolidate reports, define their structures, collect data from other core team members, and write the reports.
Project Al-Karamah Neighborhood Project
Al-Karamah neighborhood project is a residential housing project in Aqaba, with overall area of 470, 000 m2.
Works include:
1.The construction of all infrastructure works for the project, comprising of sewage, storm water, drinking water, irrigation, electrical lines and telecommunication networks.
2.The construction of 332 housing buildings and providing the infrastructure services for 228 vacant land plots.
3.The construction of public buildings zone and related green areas.
4.The construction of roads network inside the project and another off site highway road of 3Km length.
Client: Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA)
Value: US $ 31 Million.
Duties
Daily monitoring of all site activities, reporting weekly and monthly progress, coordinate works of the contractors according to the approved time schedule. Monitor progress of works and notify the PM of any delay with the adequate supporting documents. Identify the causes of delay and propose the means to recover the delay. Study and analyze the claims and any Variation Orders of the contractors and notify the PM with regarding to proper actions. Follow up with the planning engineers of the contractors all the issues related to the time schedule. Assuring that progress matters are addressed properly in progress meetings, by providing the necessary data and documentation to the attendees.
Project MEREN Silica Sand Project
The MEREN Silica Sand Project has been designed to produce high quality silica sand products for the manufacture of glass, ceramics, fiberglass and oil and gas fracturing.
Works include:
1.Water well development with a proper conveying system to the plant location.
2.Power supply from 33 KVA high-tension line, including the construction of two sub stations with the required transformers and facilities.
3.Process system, which includes: Wet plant, dry plant, bagging system and tailing ponds.
4.Ancillary system, which includes: Access roads, assay laboratory, maintenance shop, administration building, changing building, warehouse, fuel storage facility, control and instrumentation system, fire protection system.
Client: Outokumpu.
Value: US $ 10 Million.

Project Lajjoun Wells Water Supply Project (Stage III)
Works include:
1.The construction of two pumping stations, including the necessary E/M & Civil works to pump the water into the main conveying pipeline.
2.Provide & install ductile iron main pipeline with 800 mm diameter and a total length of 52 km.
3.The construction of two 1000 m3 and one 4000m3 concrete water reservoirs at different locations.
4.Providing the power supply for the two pumping stations.
Client: Ministry of Water & Irrigation.
Value: US $ 18 Million.

Corridor Wells Water Supply Project (Mafraq - Jordan)
Contract Value : US$ 13.5 Millions
Duties : Daily monitoring of all site activities, reporting weekly and monthly progress, assuring quality control & implementation of contracts specifications, reviewing materials submittals.
The project is about conveying 10 million cubic meters of potable water per year to Amman and Zarqa cities.
Work includes :
1. Providing 10 wells with submersible pumps, including necessary E/M & Civil works to pump the water into the main conveying pipeline.
2. Provide & install ductile iron main pipeline with 500 mm and 600 mm diameters with a total length of 30 km.
3. The construction of 1000 m3 water reservoir at well # 1 site.
4. The construction of high tension electrical overhead lines to the 10 wells sites, with the required transformers.
Jenin Industrial Estate Project (Jenin - Palestine)
Contract Value : US$ 25 Million
Duties : Supervising & managing all subcontractors works.
Works included Infrastructure, Construction of Administration & Support Services, and Construction of Industrial Buildings.
The project was to develop an industrial estate north of Jenin city in the West Bank. The proposed site area for the development is 113.5 ha, in addition to 4.4 ha allocated for administration and support services outside the estate boundaries.
Jenin Villages Water Transmission System (Jenin - Palestine)
Contract Value : US$ 12.00 Million
Duties : Responsibilities involved with the installation of approx. 7, 800 m of ductile iron pipe (300 mm). Construction of 2 booster pump stations (1600 m3) and (750 m3) balancing tanks, 2 reservoirs (1600 m3 & 500 m3).
Construction of water transmission pipelines using ductile iron pipes . The construction work required the installation of approx. 36, 300 meter of ductile iron pipe in the size of 50 mm, 40 mm, 300 mm, 200 mm and 100 mm. The construction of four booster pump stations with a balancing tank at each pump station site and ancillary facilities to support the booster pump operation. The construction of seven cast-in-place concrete potable water reservoirs with effective storage capacities of between 300 and 1600 cubic meters.
Aqaba Thermal Power Station Project (Aqaba - Jordan)
Contract Value : US$ 53 Million
Duties : Responsibilities involved with production & supply of concrete batching plant, different site works (shuttering & rebar fixing) including the fabrication and installation of steel reinforcement for elevated slab of electrical generator @ ~ 70 tons quantity.
Civil works contract for the construction of a 390 Mw power station (3*130 Mw units), including a turbine hall (approx. 5000 tones structural steel, 4000 sq. meter cladding and 6000 sq. meter roofing), supply & installation of large diameter GRP cooling water pipes (approx. 6 km of 1.5 m and 2.6 m diameter pipes), construction of fuel oil tanks and boiler foundations, associated process and non-process buildings, underground services, extension of existing sea water intake and offshore discharge pipe (2.6 diameter). The project is an expansion of an existing facility consisting of 3 units (3 *130 Mw).
