Major Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare, examine & analyze Partner accounts-IFRS while ensuring accuracy, consistency and timeliness, Set-up chart of Accounts, Posting Adjustments, Vendor reconciliation, Channel Partner reconciliation, Resolve duplicate entry issues, Month end closing, P&L and Balance Sheet reporting using ERP - Oracle Financials.
• Accounts Receivable: Process receipts, TT & wire transfer, New partner documentation, Preparing Billing & Receipt history report, SOA, Weekly AR ageing report & follow-up on outstanding debtors, Ageing Analysis report, Preparing balance sheet schedules, Credit exposure reporting, Maintain VAT invoices, Credit notes, Bank Guarantees, Settlement report, etc.
• Accounts Payable: Process payment based on workflow, Memo’s, SWIFT transfers, etc.
• Analysis & Validation of monthly ICM Commission based on Contracts & Memos for Channels like National distributor, Mass Resellers, Franchise, SMB channel and Issuing memo for payment release.
• Month End Reconciliation: Reconcile Discoverer (IBM Cognos report) Vs Billing Summary (Oracle report) to Prepare monthly Vice President report after GL closing by consolidating all channels monthly sales, commission payout, claw backs, Variances resolutions and Submit graphical PPT to management.
• Financial reporting & analysis: Reconciliation of GL Report, Reconciliation of ICM Vs Sales Report, Bank charges recording, Sales MIS reporting, Research & resolve issues, Audit inventories (LIFO) to ensure prevention of fraud activities, Co-ordinate with bank & submit required documents, etc.
• Incorporate Partner in ERP based on the original contract, Propose proces automation, Assist manager, Prepare/adhere to SOP’s, SLA’s, Credit control, Matrix report, Adhoc, Liaison with auditor, banker, etc.
• Group VAT Filing & Submission - VAT submission with accuracy to FTA before the deadline to avoid penalties while ensuring FTA regulatory compliance, Input Vs Output VAT reconciliation, VAT report preparation, VAT recovery on situations like Non-payment by partner (bad debts), Discount allowed to partners for full & final settlements & etc.
• Contribute to overall team progress via team meetings / ideas / initiatives / training and development, support in Internal/External Audit, Coordinate with sales, IT team, Project Management, etc.
Major responsibilities
• Prepare, examine & analyze end to end Parent co. & Subsidiaries (Intercompany) Accounts, financial statements independently using ERP, while ensuring timeliness, accuracy & consistency. As well as Train, plan, assign and review staff’s work.
• Accounts Receivables - Preparing/Verifying Export sale, Local sale, Direct sale Invoices, Posting Receipts of PDC’s, TT, Cash, Inward remittance, Resolves accounting discrepancies, Chasing the outstanding Debtors, Customer reconciliation, SOA, reporting ageing outstanding receivable report.
• Accounts Payables - Validate & accurately process Vendor Invoices & ensured that payments are supported by relevant supporting documents (P.O & GRN) & authorization, Outward remittances, Assist in resolving invoice & payment issues, Supplier reconciliations, ageing analysis, Bank Reconciliation, Resolving vendor queries & issues, Day to day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis - 3 Banks Reconciliation, Imports documentation, BL, LC, drafting reports & analysis for the department head for effective decision-making, Cash flow stmt, Payroll-WPS, P.O, Debit Note/Credit Note, Recording office expenses, Petty Cash Management, J.E's, Fixed Asset, P&L, Balance Sheet. Thus, ensuring book of accounts reveals accuracy, trueness & fairness.
• Inventory Management - Recording of Import purchase, Direct purchase, Local purchase invoices from China, India, Thailand, Iran, Turkey, etc & Post 'Reverse Charge Mechanism' for import Purchase.
• Group VAT Filing & Submission - VAT submission with accuracy to FTA before the deadline to avoid penalty. Ensuring FTA regulatory compliance & VAT recovery on situations like non payment by customer (bad debts), discount allowed to customer for full & final settlements & etc.
• Handling an array of tasks associated with passing JVs for the settlement purpose & Fixed Asset record.
• Month End Closing - Monthly closing of books of account, yearend statutory audit, year-end analysis, Liaison with bankers, Finance dept, auditor & maintaining accruals, prepayments, audit reports, etc.
• Adhoc, Team meeting, Email, Server & Backup maintenance, staying attuned for all pertinent legislations, rules & regulations that may relate to organizations financial affairs functions.
Major responsibilities:
• Performing an array of duties to Maintain Legal Entities Accounts using ERP - SAP system, Verifying Invoices, Statements & Billing summary auto generated by GCT Reporting System & booking cost to legal entities, Reconciliation - MDS Recharges (Inventory) Vs SAP Payment Vs Once off adjustments for the Vendor accounts, Inter-company, Revenue Mgt, Payables, SAP Payments booking, PDC, KPIs, Maintaining Accruals, Pre-payments, Payments, Global Accrual Follow up and Summary of Reconciliation, Expenses Recording, Settlement report, Journals Postings in SAP, Resolving of breaks & queries of Legal entities, UAT testing, Month end closing. Provide reliable information to Senior Management to assist them in making strategic decisions.
• Cost Corrections - Posting correction entries for double payments, Posting Re-class entry for Incorrect payment for the GL accounts, Accrual clearance for closed accounts or incorrect inventory ensuring that book of accounts reveals accuracy, trueness & fairness.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis - Direct Cost Analysis, Trend Analysis, Month on month variance analysis and commentary, Dashboard Reports, Transfer Function reporting, Cost & Compensation Metrics Reporting, Monthly Cost booking, Control checks, Adjustments processing in MDM app., Time Entry System Reporting, Pass through Product Reporting & validation through SAP. Global Under Overs reporting and resolving, Webpage creation to upload reports, BCS report to onshore team, Global Financial Control Matrix Sign off, Global Reconciliation Report, Weekly Cash clearing journal posting, develop models with objective of improving revenue management, presentation of reports to LOB.
• Attending business meetings & business calls & supporting in process development, improvement and stabilization, Training to new team members & Measure effectiveness of existing business strategies.
