• Study the project specifications thoroughly along with the compliance statement submitted by the sales engineers.
• Prepare estimates for the projects according to the client requirements.
• Receive the compliance statement, if required, in order to increase profitability.
• Prepare value engineering while designing the switchboards.
• Co-ordinate with execution department to obtain the missing information & clarification in case of discrepancies in specs & SLD.
• Fill in the design chick list & give it to the draftsman to prepare the drawings accordingly.
• Check of engineering drawings made by the draftsman.
• Check the submittal before forwarding it for client's approval.
• Prepare BOM of the project.
• Release the production drawings at least 2 to 3 weeks before start of production.
• Update the changes/modifications required by the client from time to time in the shop drawings and communicate to production till the final stage.
• Provide all technical clarifications to the shop floor for successful and timely completion of the project.
• Preparing the delivery schedule as per the site requirements and priority.
• Follow up with the contractor and the consultant in order to propose alternatives and to get approval as required.
• Handle the inspections with the authorized personnel's from the client and the consultant.
• Finalize the site work if required during the testing commissioning stage (Competent authority).
• Prepare the variations if required.
