Developed innovative concepts and ideas for original edits by researching and preparing resources to present to creative director in a proactive manner. ● Created promotional campaign for comedy channels, from filming to postproduction, which in turn generated increased viewership on OSNs comedy channels.
● Led efforts for network rebranding to repackage all promotional assets to the networks new look, including new graphics and re-voicing the promos for new look with the new VO talents.
In charge of production office, working around clock to fulfil everyday practical production needs, including managing staff, organizing crews, overseeing and keeping track of shooting schedules, budgets, equipment rentals, dailies, catering, transportation, and locations. Organized and distributed call sheets, production reports, schedules, script updates, among other tasks. Served as communicator between production company, crew, and subcontractors to ensure everything runs smoothly before and during shooting of shows. Performed necessary corrections and reproduction after quality check of all assets received from
both internal and external sources, including photos, graphics, illustrations, audio, and video.
● Led coordination efforts for 2 successful live Arabic talk shows, including Dr.foz season 1 and 2 and Amthal Shabea season 1 which included live call ins from viewers, attracting sponsorship from famous brands and generating ad sales revenue and both talk shows and formats were sold to various tv channels across the MENA Region!
● Created the ”Making Of“ episodes for popular musical episodes comedy show for season 1 and season 2, HINDUSTANI, which was sold to other tv networks and resulted to revenue growth for OSN.
● Directed & produced Mother’s Day inspirational special promotional videos / handled budgeting expenses for the same and delivered before deadline.
● Accomplished at setting up and implementing department workflow initiative through coordination between five departments, including dealing directly with director managers and reporting to department VP.
Upgraded all platform promos to be compatible with HD format as first project after joining company during organization merger process. Managed newly developed VOD platform with three box office movies channels, including creating promos, writing scripts, managing VO talent, and liaising with all concerned departments to retrieve relevant information. Managed in-house teams to produce supporting promotional materials after receiving monthly grid containing list of required material, including monthly menus, next & now, and all promo reversions for all shows that goes on network channels and channel highlights.
● Designed handbook to Streamline new workflow and processes for large amount of EPG menus and highlights for all network channels in order to increase productivity and efficiency and to be used by new hires and colleagues as a guide.
● Repackaged over 1500+ promos and other promotional material within a 40-day deadline in time for the merger between Orbit and Showtime networks (Now called OSN).
● Managed News promos, including producing all required promos for various news shows on weekly basis for 3 News channels showing News talk shows and morning shows from the US for a period of 3 months and successfully handed over to newly appointed head of news programming.
● Triggered increase in VOD sales by creating exciting promos for OSN.
● Leveraged industry expertise in utilizing Avid Media Composer to editing promotions, and related non-linear editing suites in SD-based tape environment, including all general entertainment content such as movies and series and news and
sports.
● Created daily promos for live recordings from US feed of the late-night comedy talk shows prior to TX for a period of 6 months, including Jay leno, Conan O'Brian, and Jimmy Kimmel.
● Trained, developed, and mentored new hired assistant staff.
