- Ensure the streamlined operation of the IT Department infrastructure and services in alignment with the business objectives of the organization.
- Monitor performance reports of the Corporate IT Department and review user satisfaction reports to continuously monitor and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of all processes and activities of the Corporate IT Department.
- Devise internal policies and procedures to ensure effective & uninterrupted IT services to all end users at all times, as well as regularly monitoring the reliability of the service to address shortcomings, to further strengthen the IT infrastructure services.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective solutions for all aspects of the organization.
- Liaise with the CCO and COO in formulating annual budgets & policies for all IT requirements.
- Conducting extensive negotiations with vendors to ensure most cost-effective services are achieved across IT support, telephony and applications.
- Evaluate and test the efficiency and effectiveness of any new technology, application, system, user tool etc., before deciding on implementation using virtualization technology.
- Plan and implement storage, file services, data backup, disaster recovery (ARCserv, Symantec backup Exec, Acronis, Hirens, ARD), network access services and network protection).
- Ensure adequate data protection against virus and accidental loss.
- Establishing Information Technology policies on data backup, e-mail system, IT asset register, anti-virus system.
- Responsible for maintaining servers, Server backups, Antivirus updating.
- Develop, design and manage implementation, installation and configuration of network hardware (base stations, repeaters Routers Switches, etc).
- Maintain File & Print share server, including security management, local & global group management and access rights.
- manage IT Data Center Creation and development from beginning to end including (MS windows server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, MS VPN, MS exchange server, ISA Server, IIS, Network printers, firewalls, Symantec endpoint antivirus manager, Kaspersky Open Security installation and troubleshooting, data backup and recovery, maintenance and migration).
- Handle all mail administrator tasks including mailbox management and anti spam management.
- Create written IT policies for backup, internet usage, antivirus, recovery.
- Discuss and plan the direction of internal business systems.
- Controlling network security & apply the proper users permissions to the network resources
- Deploy Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) to manage updating and patching Windows Clients on the network, and to minimize internet traffic by updating Windows directly from the intranet.
- Provide support and management of the operation and maintenance of communication network systems.
- Design & Implement Wireless network to cover company area.
- Create plan to select an ERP System to meet the company requirements and contact the suppliers to negotiate them
- Follow up with the supplier to install the ERP System and to understand and discuss the processes of all modules
- Install ERP Client on End users workstation and train them how to use it
- Managing, Developing ERP System using Oracle & PL SQL (ERP Manager)
- Backup the database of ERP system daily
- Installation, configuration, administration & maintenance 2000/2003 based network.
- Installing, configuring and administering the Exchange server 2003, ISA Server 2004.
- Installing, Configuring and Administering the SQL Server.
- Creating users & groups on 2000/2003 server/workstation.
- Trouble shoot problem related with LAN and WAN.
- Assisting end users technical issues in the office and showrooms (real time solutions).
- Planning, scheduling & executing preventive maintenance for systems.
- Conduct Training Sessions to train people to operate program.
