Responsibilities include development and implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental management system, HSE Procedures aligned to Classical Palace minimum requirements and Client's requirements, monitoring and reporting on HSE compliance with the contract an local legislation (Qatar Construction Specification); auditing construction / site supervision activities; reporting to the Managing Director.
Review of contract documents for each construction package in respect of safety requirements & procedures and organize pre mobilization & pre construction coordination meetings with Client & Contractor representatives.
Conducting Inspections, Relevant meetings, HSE Management system audits and closely monitor the site activities, on daily basis, issuing non- compliance reports.
Review of inspection, test, plans, method statements and risk assessments as submitted by concerned contractors and ensure compliance with safety requirements of client procedures as well as applicable legal requirements.
Participate with PMC staff in reviewing and assessing of close out reports related to HSE issues as submitted by contractor.
Responsibilities include development and implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental management system, HSE Procedures aligned to Client's requirements, monitoring and reporting on HSE compliance with the contract and local legislation, auditing construction / site supervision activities; reporting to the HSE Manager and oversaw up to 500 site personnel and 3 safety staff and accountable for the west area.
Implement company HSE procedures at the assigned location and employees accountable for following the rules. Developing the companies Health & Safety / Environmental policy statements and carrying out risk assessments, accident investigations and safety. Advise the site management on any environmental and health & safety issues on an ongoing basis and develop / review procedures and work instructions to ensure that HSE requirements are considered.
Key risks involved with construction of roads, drainage, utilities, micro tunnelling, excavations, confined spaces, lifting operations and Traffic management, pedestrian crossings.
Responsibilities include advising and assisting the management in fulfilment of its obligations concerning preventing of personal injuries and in maintaining a safe working environment.
Conducting Safety trainings to support the HSE Management System. Includes training related to Occupational Safety, Emergency Services, Health, Environment, and Risk management. Actively involved in providing advice & consultations to project/company construction team on HSE matters targeting a zero accident incident record. Mentored the team of Safety professionals to implement and enforce HSE procedures to attain the zero accident targets. Developed Risk Management procedures and conducted trainings & Mock drills to overcome all possible emergency situations in the construction sector.
Develops Safety project procedures covering mechanical, electrical isolation, fire protection systems, escape, evacuation and rescue systems, pre start up safety reviews. Follow up to ensure implementation and compliance.
Ensure Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) and Traffic Diversion Plan (TDP) to warn and guide vehicles and other road users safely and efficiently and providing protection to the road workers. Ensure site personnel are trained on basic elements of Temporary Traffic Management. Monitor traffic movements and ensure all corrective actions such as Noncompliance reporting will be undertaken within the required time frame.Erecting Advance signs and frames will be secured by means of sand bags, install Traffic barriers and Flashing lights/lamps and ensure Warning signs are illuminated during night works. Record and notify the TDP immediately of any modifications or changes to traffic management measures not included in the approved TDP. Ensure that the temporary signs and cones are placed on the main carriageway to indicate to road users that temporary works are being conducted. Ensure trained signallers / Flagman / Banks man is assigned to control vehicle and plant movement on public roads. Ensure that the internal work permit system is implemented to work inside manholes, deep or partially covered excavations, with in the enclosed formwork area where air supply is limited.Daily routine site inspection covering all activities running on site and to provide a detailed report to the site management.
Supervised the safety management functions for construction of a package of 8 residential building G+11, Utility buildings, four substations, roads, infrastructure and landscaping in Ruwais Housing Complex for ADNOC as an ADNOC approved HSE Engineer, dealing with multiple sub-contractors, reporting to the HSE Manager/Project Manager and oversaw up to 3000 site personnel and 14 safety staff and accountable for the entire project.

Reporting monthly HSE statistics. Ensures availability of PPE in the area of Employee Health and trains employees in its usage. Updating of various material safety data sheet (MSDS) of hazardous chemical. Ensures availability of PPE in the area of Employee Health and trains employees in its usage. Identify the training needs, design and impart training to staff, visitor, subcontractor and workmen. Advice the purchasing and stores department in ensuring high quality and availability of personal protective equipment's.
