Attend the formal handover from Proposals and Estimating at the start of the project in accordance with Corporate Procedures.
Establish and define any job oriented project control procedures and identify the level of resources required to operate them.
Develop in conjunction with the Project Manager and Client a suitable Work Breakdown Structure for the project.
Establish and communicate cost and schedule baselines and ensure control mechanisms are in place to monitor performance.
Review overall project status with the Project Control team and Project Management and recommend corrective action where necessary.
Ensure that all cost, planning and document control reports are prepared and issued in accordance with the Project Coordination Procedure.
Designing and submission of Detailed project execution plan which includes resource loading, cost loading and weightage assignments using project management software like Primavera P6, MS-Project.
Preparing sub-projects for various functions like Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning to meet the Contract Schedule.
Managing overall project planning and monitoring; participating in project review meetings for evaluating project progress.
Updates of contract schedules, project dashboard, critical path analysis, resource profiles, earned value, S-curves, schedule narrative and execution reports.
Preparing and updating progress reports (daily, weekly, Monthly reports), look ahead plans (Weekly / Biweekly / Monthly/ 3 Months), Manpower and Machinery utilization chart, claims and variations.
Identifying the best series of events in the correct order for the project to finish on time and on budget.
Preparing Time Extension Claims and calculating relevant cost for each claim.
Responsible for getting the right products in the right quantities, to the right locations all at the right time.
In charge of the day to day operations of the transport department.
Responsible for all of the dispatching, routing and tracking of delivery vehicles.
Analyze expenditures and other financial information in order to develop plans, policies, and budgets for increasing profits and improving services.
Making sure that all transport fleet vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
Developing and nurturing customer relationships.
Resolving and managing queries and complaints courteously and efficiently.
Establishes and updates the Detailed Project Schedule (DPS) in accordance with the DPS procedure, including leading the harmonization and integration of sub-schedules from all parties (functions, subdivisions) involved in the project.
Responsible for co-ordination with various sites in Germany, China & India to achieve harmonization at global level as per project requirement.
Lead domestic & international project scheduling meetings in India & Germany related to DPS topics.
Providing support to project manager to manage, lead and instruct the Project Core Team in the day-to-day activities within schedule, allocated budgets and scope to the required quality, through all phases of the project.
Review and Analysis of variances between Budget, Forecast and Actual figures and comment on them in monthly Reporting (Earned value management).
Participate in project review meetings, project audits, risk and delay mitigation meetings where appropriate and any forum which may detect or review early warning indications of problems and /or delays.
Project management:

Site management:
Site execution for cabling works of 11/66/132/220/400 kV ratings transmission line.
Installation of FO cable and DTS cable using blowing technique.
Material handling, manpower arrangements and scheduled planning of site works.
Co-ordination with client and consultants for the inspection works of site activities.
Supervision of site works for power cable installation up to 132kV.
Arrangement of manpower, machineries & site inspection.
Coordination with site manager for arrangements of cable drum, pulleys.
Calculation of cable pulling tension in MS-Excel from cable route drawing.
