• Senior Design Advisor / Senior Interior Design Leader - Building Excellence Section

1) Overall duties:
i. Manage all interior design activities within (SODIC) developments throughout all stages;
ii. Manage and mentor subordinate staff members within interior design section to achieve company`s strategic objectives related to (ID) and finishes;
iii. Set and develop company`s (ID) and finishes standards based on overall strategic marketing plan;
iv. Develop creative architectural and (ID) solutions for company`s different developments;
v. Participate in value engineering (VE) process especially during crises & provide creative ideas & decision support to development & business plans;
vi. Prepare drawings, contract annexes, attached to legal contracts for clients;

2) Pre-contract duties:
i. Manage consultants assigning assessment process;
ii. Coordinate between different consultants to ensure maintaining standards, quality & design intent;
iii. Review drawing submissions and manage tracking sheets;
iv. Review renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, colour, mood & material boards;
v. Participate in marketing process & project launches with marketing team;
vi. Act to bridge the gap between financial expectations & design deliverables while monitoring project budgets & maintaining company`s standards along with cost control team;

3) During-Tender duties:
i. Hold technical workshops with vendors to ensure full understanding of tender documents & design intent;
ii. Manage & prepare technical offers assessments;
iii. Respond to all technical queries raised by vendors;

4) Post-contract duties:
i. Review shop drawings for architectural, (ID), FF&E & finishes trades;
ii. Coordinate between all trades to maintain design intent as well as (SODIC) standards;
iii. Manage materials selection/approval process;
iv. Participate in preparing a list of approved suppliers, vendors & manufacturers;
v. Carryout inspections of special architectural, (ID), FF&E & finishes items;
vi. Perform technical support for in-field activities related to architectural, (ID), FF&E & finishes;
vii. Manage mock-up preparation with all parties in-field to ensure compatibility with design intent & company`s quality standards;

5) In-House Design duties:
i. Prepare mood, palette & Material boards;
ii. Carryout design concepts of company`s developments based on development programme;
iii. Develop drawings and prepare full packages till construction documents package;
iv. Carryout full responsibilities of coordination with all trades and departments for a coordinated package;
v. Ensure compatibility with financial plan by participating in updating cost plan with cost control team.
