• Reviewing ITB and proving technical inputs to biding team for unit pricing of multi-discipline (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecom) works.
• Attending pre bid meeting and site survey for biding.
• Developing project budget, scheduling and sequencing the day to day activities by estimating of manpower, equipment, consumable materials and site facilities on project phase basis and ensuring that development and construction activities move according to contract schedule and construction costs to keep project on budget.
• Planning and preparing site facilities like; camping facilities, fencing of camp, laydown and site offices, porta-cabins, calibration shops, site stores, securities rooms, transportation all construction site requirements.
• Preparing mobilization and demobilization plan.
• Keeping track of Equipment (cranes, excavators, trucks, trailers, forklifts, dumpers, earthmovers, rollers, compactors) and resources being used efficiently.
• Ensuring the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly by establishing daily tool box talk and weekly safety talks.
• Controlling and issuing of all work permits as performing authority and ensuring that anyone associated with any project activities within client areas adheres to all PTW system at all times.
• Resolving on-site issues like; locals and workers nuisance, transportation, accommodation and flooding issues.
• Ensure that suitable means of reporting progress are established for the construction phase and the report accurately reflects the actual status.

• Overseeing day to day construction activities of civil, structural, piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and telecom.

• Overseeing of 132KV/33KV/13.8KV GIS substation’s installation of Electrical Equipment’s of Substation DDC panels, AHU Panels, Lightning Systems & Panels, AC-DB Panels, SDB Panels, Transformers, Switch gears, Exhaust fans, Smoke Purge Fans, Supply Fans, Blower Motors, Differential Pressure Sensor, Transformers 6.6KV and 10kv switchgear & soft starter panels LV panels lighting Panels IRP, UPS control Panels and Desks, installation of aviation light, DB, JB & MOV panels Heat tracing and cathodic protection and HV, MV &LV Switchboard & motors fin fan, cable laying, termination and Hi-pot test, .
• Lying of 115 KV high voltage cable from GIS substation to power Transformer
• Reviewing vender’s package documents and drawings and coordination with engineering team for site QT rose by contractors during construction at site.
• Preparing construction project budget estimate.
• Planning and preparation of construction schedules and milestones.
• Developing a plan which clearly identifies site need dates for critical equipment and materials and implementing monitoring processes to give early warning of any threat or risk to meeting the need dates and developing mitigating actions in time to avoid any impacts to site activities.
• Reviewing contract and preparing records for changes and additional works during project execution.
• Overseeing and leading a team of engineers and supervisors in carrying out construction works.
• Managing resources and equipment to achieve contract completion within budget and time.
• Participating in regular meetings to identify problems, target dates, issues, delays execution of work to ensure timely project completion;
• Conducting internal staff meetings, ensure the progress of project in accordance to schedule, allotted man hours and budgeted costs.
• Directing and monitoring Material Take off (MTO) activities, identify irregularities and shortfalls, take corrective action as required.

• Preparing all testing dossiers/loop check packages along with proper document to safely execute the work.
• Leading technical teams to undertake commissioning activities and interfacing with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities and monitoring progress to commissioning schedule.
• Ensuring availability of personnel, equipment and consumable materials to complete planned workloads.
• Ensuring that all commissioning activities are carried out with all appropriate consideration to the safety of the labor involved, those associated with the field, PIBs and CCR activities.
