As the Middle East Correspondent of BBC Persian TV, following developing news stories, amending and updating material as requires and responding to breaking stories whilst on air, were integral parts of my routine duties.

I joined Atieh Bahar as a political analyst. In that capacity, I supervised macro political analysis and contributed to their fortnightly publication, Iran Press Analysis.
In December 2001, I was promoted to Manager of "Recruitment and Human Resources". In this position, I was in charge of leading consulting projects for foreign firms planning to recruit in Iran.
