Managed team of 32 IT/Video and Network engineers responsible for AT&T’s U-verse IPTV platform video acquisition and DirecTV Streaming Product. Team managed the Satellite downlink and fiber feeds for over 800 national content providers and 1400 local broadcasters in the 61 U-verse markets.
● Worked and Suported Scrum teams in building new DirecTV Product called DTNow Streaming product.
● Established end to end surveillance of internal CDN/AWS sources for DIRECTV Now streaming service using Moogsoft and Dataminer applications.
● Created Advertising Insertion department, developed three phased Ad Insertion platform allowing for National/Local and Targeted Advertising through a Seachange/Arris/iTX solution. Combined the Ad insertion platform airs over 1, 800, 000 ads per day
● Implemented AT&T’s Live to VOD program using Ericsson’s TXTV system to capture program content, repackage and deploy through various AT&T VOD platforms.
● Led the development of a monitor by exception tool that correlates and analyzes subsystem data for networks ad insertion platform that allowed three administrators to manage the 1.8 million ads played per day; previous tooling required 12 admins to manage 300, 000 ads per day.
● Developed an automated metrics reporting dashboard for all aspects of video acquisition and ad operations allowing leadership real-time access to team’s performance.
● Responsible for records and enterprise information management/business intelligence/analytics, regulatory (FCC) compliance, disaster recovery and developed process for managing regional sports network (RSN) market occasional feeds and blackout requirements.
Responsibilities included installation, maintenance, training and activation and testing of video reception and processing equipment, broadband network electronic equipment, including maintenance and repair of:
- Installation of coax, fiber, and data cabling in a Head end, Hub, or CO environment
- Ability to perform various RF and Video measurements using:
- E4403B Spectrum Analyzer
- Wholer Amp 2-E8 Series+ Digital Audio Monitor Panel
- TG 700 Test Signal Generator
- WFM 700M Digital Waveform Monitor
- WVR7100 Rasterizer
- Installation/configuration of the ROSA status monitoring system.
- IP address structures
- Install VistaLink Pro, Configure Evertz Card, Troubleshoot and create Thumbnails for all local cities.
- Basic knowledge of Alcatel Switches and Routers.
- Encore Router for Video.
- Testing and troubleshooting system level problems.
- Identify the source of the measurement problem, and assist technical personnel in troubleshooting to the device level.

Duties include providing 1st Tier support, coordinating timely resolution of problems related to network/systems hardware and software. Involves consulting with clients, hardware and software vendors, and the networking (WAN/LAN) support groups. Includes support for all products delivered in this 7x24 hour environment. Responsible for monitoring and responding to technical hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of testing tools and techniques for servers, LAN/WAN, voice or video networks.

Working for Desktop ServicesResponsibilities included regular TSM duties like (Reimage, create image, troubleshooting hardware and software, resolve sms issues, continue to develop problem solving skills and allow new TSM’s to shadowing my work as a teaching method).Special Duties:Lease Rollover Coordinator: Coordinate Dallas area Lease Roll Projections for 2004 by publishing an excel spreadsheet to know what is coming, use the resources to complete those rollover in timely manner. We have completed close to 2300 Lease Rollover in 2004.ITSERVICES DOMAIN MIGARTION: Lead the Itservices Domain(NT Domain Migration to 2000 Domain) migration project for Dallas Turf for 9 months. Migrated Close to 3500 Users. (Duties included: attending weekly conf. call, supervise a group of TSM’S within my team, schedule the sites for the migration, accommodate the needs of our customers and work with NOC and Wyse Terminal users. Finished the project one week before the timeline death given to us by our Sr. Technical Director.
DHCP: Lead the DHCP conversion project in Dallas region over the course of six months. (Duties included: Coordinate weekly meeting with ITO team, find out how many workstations and printers on each floor. Drop a memo on each desk.)
PROJECTS: Project Lead on several high volume moves from different cities to the Dallas region. (Duties included: Coordinate meeting with customers and different groups. Downtime, special access, Ip addresses for printers and workstations and applications.)
SERVER: Was a member of the Server Administrator team for the DDLS000C domain in the Dallas Turf. (Duties included: Change and created profiles and logon scripts according to business needs of our customers. Successfully managed the ODTSA queue and maintained backup tapes.)
