Ensure that all construction works are executed in strictly comply with the approved construction drawing, approved material, project specifications and Qatar Construction Standard. Coordinate with the contractor’s site engineer in charge of the work and the Q.A. /Q.C. on a daily basis as per approved programmed of works and to advise on the proper execution of the work. Make sure all safety measures have been provided prior to start of any site activity.
Maintain a detailed diary of the day’s work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labor and equipment used, etc. and sign at the end of each day as directed by ARE and RE.
Ensure all delivered materials as per sample materials approval and quality assurance test of suspect materials. Coordinate with the Surveyors to check the line and grade of ready work and completed work for conformance with the approved plans and specifications. Report questionable methods of operation against the approved method statement / ITP by the Contractor to the A.R.E. or the Resident Engineer.
Report to the Assistant Resident Engineer / Resident Engineer any failure of the Contractor to perform the work as per the drawings and specifications and to provide good workmanship. Process the Inspection Requests promptly and maintain records of their status and keep records of the executed works. Maintain detailed records of work performed by the contractor in case the work is performed on a Day Works basis. Ensure all testing commissioning performed in accordance with approved ITP format and checked all equipment parameters.
Coordinate with client to close out all punch lists to smooth hand over. Reviewed As-built drawing and project dossier. Review & comments on project dossier prior to final submission. Monitor & follow up Facility management/maintenance checked, tested and replaced faulty of aged components and parts on a wide variety of equipment’s during DLP period of 400 Days.

Responsible for maintaining filing system of RFI (Request for Inspections), MIR (Material Inspection Requests), Method statements and other QA/QC documents. Reviewing technical documentation and subcontractor documentation. Preparation of Method statements & Inspection and Test Plans as per the project specifications and requirements. Liaising with the Engineer for day-to-day quality related activities of the project. Coordinating with the consultant for all inspection and test requirements of Projects.
Coordinating with Non-Destructive Examination & testing agencies for procedure qualification record and all other tests. Preparing and maintaining weekly and monthly quality reports. Maintaining calibration records for inspection, measuring & test equipment used in the project. Ensuring that all materials/equipment incorporated into permanent construction are in compliance with the project specifications, approved material submittals, contract requirements and legal requirements. Obtaining consultant approval upon delivery of available materials at the project site.
Issuing internal observation in any area where the discrepancy is found and “shall close out observation” to minimize the external non-conformity. Preparation of Root Cause, Corrective Action & Preventive action report for any non-conformances raised by the consultants and closing the non-conformances in due time. To review contract documents to identify quality requirements, ensure the quality system is implemented and maintained, monitor, inspect and report on all mechanical activities to ensure compliance with specifications.
Identifying deviations, areas of non-conformance and undertaking relevant modifications. Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the company’s management and initiate necessary corrective and preventive action.

Ensuring the works is performed in accordance with the specifications/procedures. Responsible for the successful execution of the contractual and statutory requirements. Liaise with planning manager and scheduler for look ahead and target programs. Coordinating and controlling the activities of work crews and subcontractors. Utilize, monitor & maintain project schedules, drawings, specifications, daily tasks. Checking the progress of the work at sites as per program.
